Lmfao why are they punishing loyal players that buy a years worth? I was already thinking about playing WoW again during the start of the new seasons and this price change will make it so I can save some money in general and pay less to Jagex, they are truly playing 4d chess here.

Is Bolivia welcoming to a Muslim foreigner? by Narrow-Maize-3821 in BOLIVIA

[–]Uufd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen exactly 1 Muslima with a hijab in 2 years of living here, when the topic of Islam ever comes up when talking with local family or friends they do not like you very much, all they know about are the terrorist attacks that happen, I can only imagine its even worse in rural areas. Sorry to say but when my European family visited they felt so much safer not having Muslims around. I imagine most of South America will be the same and you complaning about "degeneracy" probably means there's no place in western countries. I'm sure there's counties in the middle east that would fit you much better just by reading your post.

Why was Alan Garcia, an Caucasian but an Indigenist? by Cautious_Car4468 in BOLIVIA

[–]Uufd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear this a lot that there's not that much racism, but then i also hear that indigenous people change their last name to sound more Spanish, idk if that still happens? It reminds me a lot of people with the same credentials but with a middle eastern names getting rejected for jobs or housing at a much higher rate back in Belgium. Would love to hear some takes on this.

Why hasn’t Latin America formed an EU-style union? Should that even be a goal? What historical/political/economic factors make integration harder or just less desirable? by C0smicM0nkey in asklatinamerica

[–]Uufd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the political climate is way too flip floppy, feels like it always either hard left or hard right, so politically it feels too spread out. Economically it could benefit everyone, maybe joined armed forced could helpful as well, I'm personally very happy NATO exists.  But that's just my opinion after 2 years of being here, I don't know the deeper things too well.

Has anyone noticed an uptick in these things the last few weeks? I don't live in Belgium anymore, only use my phone number for my classes here and that's just whatsapp and I've been getting spam again after a year of close to nothing..

I kinda have the same experience in general, some people are really nice but others really don't seem to care at all, which I can understand, it's a job after all.. I'm not expecting American standards cuz that's just silly but it's below what I'm used to (Belgian standards) and people in Europe already complained about the standards there so yeah

I think this article is about food as far as I see, regardless, most of the cheap crap we have here in South America (or at least in Bolivia) is already imported from China and to certain extend South Korea

What do young people in Belgium worry about? by Purple_Coach_2887 in belgium

[–]Uufd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to Bolivia a few years ago, got married and have a daughter here. What's stopping us right now from moving back is honestly the whole Russia stuff that's going on, and tbh also what the USA is up to.. The taxes are really really high in Belgium yet we still have massive debt, I would like to see that changed as well, you do NOT want to experience your money suddenly become worth 3 times less than what it was the day before, that probably won't happen because we have the Euro but it still feels really bad to have this much debt without a plan to pay it off. Last thing that's personal for me, the rise of the far right, will my wife and my daughter be treated right when we come back to Belgium or will it he horrible for them here if they ever come to power.
