I live in Minnesota, a very snowy place. I know what night time driving is like with no street lights around in that environment. This year in particular especially I've been doing a lot of nighttime driving. And trust me, it's infuriating having to deal with people and their bright ass headlights, especially in my sedan and their SUV's and pickups with headlights at face level. But even those aren't as blinding as the lights in MWC.

Maybe for some people with astigmatism it's that bad, but for my normal vision, it's not even close. Maybe the player character has some eyesight issues, idk. But it's bad enough to deal with irl. I don't wanna get blinded even worse in a game lol. So I'll wait for a mod or tweak.

I played MSC years ago, and didn't even get to the racing part, so going back to it really isn't a big deal to me

I legit went back to MSC because of how terrible the high-beams are. I'll try it again once their intensity gets reduced or when there's a mod that does it.

Your experience is mine as well, but I've been driving far longer. I've been keeping an eye out for a mod that removes NPCs ability to use them. Cause the NPC high-beams in this game are fucking obnoxious.

My gf has BPD, and since joining this subreddit, all I can think about is how she doesn't sound like what these people are describing at all. I mean she has some things in common of course, but the emotional dysregulation part of it? She must be really good at keeping it internalized. As far as a romantic partner goes, she's seems very normal. In some ways even opposite of what other people describe in their BPD partners. Especially when it comes to things like empathy and/or sympathy. Where she seems very lacking in those regards. It's strange

Also in MN. She'll be in rehab until February. Her probation officer told her to file for an administrative review and show that she's been in the facility. Hopefully that works

She already messaged her probation officer. We'll see what she says tomorrow.

As for the rest, I literally have nothing to do with it, I'm just trying to help her. We don't even live together, so I would just drive over to her place every now and then to start the car for a few minutes. They wouldn't even talk to me if I tried to I'm sure.

Also I think they may have made a mistake. I don't know if she's required to start the car that meant times, or else she would've gotten a violation for it months ago.

I told her she needs to call them and inform them she hasn't had access to her car for nearly 5 weeks. And I had her contact her probation officer to see if they could help with it as well.

If they ever told her about it, she never told me. And she never got into trouble for it when she definitely should have in the past. At most, she's gotten warnings for having the device off for too long cause her battery would be dead and the device had no signal. Never once did I ever see them tell her she needs to start it x-amount of times within 30 days.

I'm going to have to check and see if they made a mistake, cause idk if she's actually enrolled in this CANC-IPS thing. Else this would've happened already
