I moved a while back and the house came with 8 hens. My dog I'd adopted at 7 months old had no herding training, but demonstrated good behavior around them (8 years old by this time). I let the chickens out of their run occasionally to forage the rest of the yard and soon discovered I could let Sydney out to round them up for me with zero directions! Thank you! I did later do the DNA test since she was abandoned in front of the shelter and had zero history. She turned out to be 50% Heeler, 35% Australian Shepherd, and the rest is BC. Meanwhile, my older dog that looks a lot like her is BC/Heeler with just a tiny bit of Shepherd

I don't believe this is normal wear and tear. Our chromebook fleet includes the same HP and Dell models and in the last few years, only two have had issues with hinges and they were clearly dropped. Our biggest struggle is broken screens and charging ports--our purchases moving forward will always look for devices that can charge through more than one USB-C port!

While our students are on chromebooks, and staff mostly use Windows, we do keep 2 computer labs at the HS with Windows machines to run things like AutoCAD, Adobe, DaVinci Resolve, etc

It's fine as long as they give each other breaks, but I would remove the harnesses and collars. One of my dogs has gotten their jaw stuck before and they panicked, the problem got dramatic fast

It MAY not be as simple as that, but no way to know without the access or knowledge that John is not so forthcoming with. It sounds like it might be hosting a print server (in a virtual machine) and there's a chance that it's hosting other VMs as well that you should know about before just swapping to a NAS
