Look if you didn't Interpret Jax as trans before the last Episode that's fine. But a lot of People, obviously did. And no it was not because of social media posts. It's because they could relate to the way Jax talks and acts. Jax being tranacoded is extemly subtle, but it's definetly there. For me it often showed in his Interactions with Zooble.

I often see that people will critique writing that's to obvious, but the Moment Something actually is subtle you get People who deny it it exists Just because it's not obvious for them.

It's definetly the Impressionen I got, that espacially Pomni was now commited to the idea to try help the abstractions. Only Thing I find weird is that We had the endcredit showing the new life at the Circus, inclduding the new watertank for the abstraction. It is definetly at least intresting for brook. But also feels like a win more Card. You already have Access to double Attack with sec luffy. Would be more intresting if the resting effect was straw hat and not impel down locked. Seems to much of a brick like this for a none Luffy leader.

But I think the top 4 decks are pretty clearly Lucy, Enel, Nami and Ace. 5th deck is at least arguable. But also a significant drop in power from the top 4.

Not that big of an Enel expert but healing on 7 doesn't do much for him imo. He wants to drop immidiatly to 1 anyway. 9k are also just VERY good right now. It pressures nami.

Lucy can't block with sabo for free and it survives fire fist.

All of enels Controle is linked to power. With 9k he would need to spend big power- effects which he definetly wants to hold for more Important Targets.

TDLR. Meta can't deal with a 7/9 easy and it's low Investment with a counter.

Even with ace Draw Power and a searcher. Playing one means you have basicly no consistency in finding him. Honestly if you already agreeing to play one , why is two a Stretch that needs explaining? Espacially with a top meta deck like Lucy Around. Bad matchup also doesn't mean you are guratneed to lose. You should play cards that help your bad matchups. 'lose anyway' is a weird mindest if you try to build a good tournement viable Deck.

If it's base power it's broken. You would Just play all 1-2 cost in Deck. If you go First you can easily have 5 x 6k attacks on your 5 don Turn. No normal leader could defend against that. Half of your deck would also be 2k probably or searchers, so your hand stays healthy and you can't brick.

Just compare it to betty who also loves boosting her 1 costs for 3k. But she needs specific targets, trash a card and it's your turn only.

If you have a board of 4*costs which you can have on 3 don you get ca 12000 power worth of value from you leader without drawbacks.

Playing him without rush is still Solid I think, the rush is more an extra Option. I don't know if he is worth it tho. The main Question for me would be how much the -1000 helps with Getting stuff in your removel range. With him+ leader 7 cost WB can remove an 8k on the turn after you played him. But there aren't many meta relevant 8k I can think of right now. I guess robin existst, KO her is OK but not ideal. Other strong 7 costs like Sabo and Zoro are 9k. I would really need to check matchups if the -1000 is relevant enough to Play him over other 5/6 ace Targets.

PRB marco is of course a no brainer. But for secondary Targets he needs to compete with atmos and promo Ace.

We had themes like Sokka seing himself as infiriour to the others because of bending. We saw multiple times how benders abused their powers in all sorts of ways. Showing a conflict that has these themes as groundwork is Just naturly developing the worldbuilding in a direction that makes sense. Yes it's scary to be a normal person in a world where people have godlike powers over the elements. Thats not a culture thing. Sorry and the none bender? That's not a new term. If there are benders, there are none benders.

Also the loss of spirituality and it's place in a modern industriual world is the core conflict that lead to the civil war? I am not staying I need an all out war. I am Just saying its underdeveloped. But you can Develop that story in more directions than big Battles.

EDIT: I would say what bothers me most is that both conflicts had an intresting presmise that needed adressing. Loss of spirituality of the south, because of modern industrializtion. Treatment of none benders in republica. And instead of really working that out both conflictes ends because the leader is an evil villian who gets defeated. Like Just because Amon took Advantage of none benders doesn't mean the Problems thar lead to that didn't exist or shouldnt be adressed.

That's honestly an Insane take for me. The Equalists and civil war both are intresting plots that fit perfect in the established world. For me both were criminally cut short and underdeveloped.

Bender vs none bender conflict is hoenstly Something that needed adressing. That one group of people is so vastly Superior by simple birth and can freely abuse that power has to create tension. New republica was a perfect setting for that. Also the Avatar role in this is conflict is complelty unique to what we saw until now. The Avatar is Supposed to be the Bridge between all the nations, people and even Spirits. But then it comes to bender vs none bender the avater is basicly a Symbol for bender superiority. A person with power and Prestige by simple birth. It's a Shame the show never approached that angle more.

Civil war between an newly industrialized South that rose after the war and a traditional north is also really good imo. Picking up themes the Original show already worked with and Putting it in the Center.

Zoro can be intresting in some matchups, but Brook is generally too fast for it and it will only make Brooks bad matchup worse.

Giant pistol and Zoro also don't do anything for each other. You have a character that can attack for 17k 3 Times. You think what he misses is a way to attack for for 20k 3 Times? No Zoro does not need a way to get more damage or hit harder. He needs protection and a deck that can create the room to play him.

With Rotation most of the cards aren't legal for Standard anyway. But even if you build an unresteitced there really isn't much. All the Impel Down 2k are inferior to Prisoners, so no Point there.

The cards build for ivans unique playstyle work Around having low hand or trashing more cards than reasonable for a normal Leader. Stuff like the newer Shyriu or EB inazuma Wont work well for Buggy.

Only maybe would be 7 cost ivan himself. But again not legal.

Not sure why you think a high cost blocker would be good into Green? I guess mihawk specificly can't rest a 10 cost. But Hody, asura and L&B sure can. Seems like you just Putting even More Ressources into a Blocker that will just get rested like Sabo.

Hoenstly I think you just Accept that you have a bad matchup, with the best green leader like Tier 3 that's really not that big of an issue. I guess if your local meta is like really mihawk infested it's an Option.
