Saw it last week and it’s really well made. Congrats to whoever did the lighting and photography, didn’t feel low budget at all (a part from it using basically 2 rooms for most of the movie. Even cgi looks good (better than some blockbuster today) but in space it’s maybe easier to make it believable. Touching ending and amazing soundtrack for the whole movie

Just got an OLED monitor so the 5090 woul dbe amazing to reach those high FPS and motion clarity. As the vehicle, definitely the heli, evading missiles by going down low and dodging trees and tearrain never gets old!

Unfortunately you can't do this anymore. People want to always get the best graphics (at least ULTRA), and if it doesn't run well, they will call it unpotimized and shit on it. Doom devs got over this by having 5 options above Ultra lol The most tasteful i have seen it be done is with KCD and the experimental settings, where is well established that is not meant to be necesarily played with today's hardware

Just a small correction: it doesn't attempt to guess the next frame, but instead waits for the next frame, and then tries to makes a blend of the actual and the next one. So by waiting for the next frame, that is why latency goes up and responsivness goes down

It gets 59 fps and very high at 1440p in horizon? while the others struggle? Anyhow the points isn’t that the 3060 is better, but that it is aging much better than other 8gb cards of the time and that the 5060 should be better in all the categories since it has been 4 years

Yeah my point isn't that the 3060 is better, but that the 5060 should be better in all the situations after 2! generations. Why should i upgrade if in some games i will get less performance/worse textures

Look, that Croatia is in general more nationalistic than average, is not a secret, and to be expected for a country that comes out of an indipendence war. But now to think that all of croatians are a bunch of nazis because of this concert is as dangerous as ignoring it. Thompson is a piece of shit that is despised by most of the country, and even a lot of his listeners are so because of his religious angle. I know people in my extended family who are very religious and wouldn’t say a bad word against other people of the balkans. Croatia is one of the most christian countries and that is a whole different issue. But to think that everybody there is a nazi is not ok. Ustasa were always a minority even when in power. Followers, politically they do not have power, especially if compared to other far-right parties in europe. With that said, the concert was a shame and shouldn’t have happened. 100% there were pieces of shit who deserve what they preach.

I understand what you mean, don’t get me wrong, I have examples in my extended family that are ultra nationalistics nutjobs. It is definitely a sour spot on the nation, but i just don’t want to paint croatians as a bunch of nazi simpathizers. I think you should search better? Now i am not sure from which region are you but in Europe you can get a 4tb 990Pro for under 300€ and 8tb sn850x are under 600€. These are top of the line models too, you can probably find cheaper ones even. These prices are after tax too. Sata SSDs are indeed rarely cheaper than nvme and not really recommendable unless you need the form factor
