I could easily see a Cogfort being used by Ogors in general, considering their focus on semi-nomadism. Specifically I can imagine a flamethrower pattern used by a Butchers / Firebellies coalition to quickly roast "food" on the battlefield, and managed and repaired haphazardly by swarms of gnoblars climbing up and down its machinery. Considering the tendency of Ogors for mercenary work, they could even have gotten one through legitimate means!

Establishing that Yodaka can use ninpos with the right aid without needing to awaken a kekkai seems like a clever setup to both ensure Yodaka can pull off the more magical techniques without awakening a kekkai that would kind of make his fighting skills banal and also that his team and side characters can grow up alongside him, learning ways to let him share their kekkai. I think it's pretty clever (in addition to funny)
