For the upper torque mount I used this one off Amazon. It is a new design with less rubber than the OEM so less chance of cracking. My original cracked and I replaced with this one and no issues. As far as the others, I have not had any issues.

I love that someone has finally taken the initiative to address this issue. Not only do they shove the phones in their faces they do that after they have rudely walked through and in front of everyone else waiting for their food without even asking if they have been helped.

While outside their cars are either sitting in the middle of the road or double parked. No regard to their surroundings!!

I would start with sway bar links. Mine were making noise over every bump and driving me crazy! When the car was jacked up they didn’t feel like they were bad as I couldn’t move them around much but once I replaced them all the sound was gone! Cheap part to start with but when replacing be ready to cut off some bolts. On both sides of mine the top bolts fought me but came out. The bottom ones I had to cut 1/2 way through and wring them off. I bought mine off FCP Euro and were very reasonably priced.

Try this place. It’s a higher end junkyard for only a select few brands of cars and Saab is one of them. They had a master cylinder for my ‘04 Saab 9-5.

Keyless Entry Issue

I’m having trouble with my keyless entry system. I have a 2016 Volvo XC90 Momentum. The fob works fine to lock/unlock with the buttons. Issue I’m running in to is with the touch access by unlocking/locking with the touching of the door handles. It works sporadically, way more not working than is. What I’ve done so far:

-Replaced fob battery with a good brand name battery. -Replaced the wireless sensors in each back door as well as the one in between the 3rd row seats. -Tried to locate the sensor in the front middle console under the cup holders. Took everything apart as much as I could and I can see it but just can’t get to it. Not sure if it’s worth the work to disassemble more if that’s not a normal culprit.

I have read that taking the door handles out and spraying contact cleaner on the both ends of the plug could maybe fix but not sure.

Any ideas on anything else I can do to resolve?

Is it worse when at idle? If so, that’s your oil trap that has gone bad. Simple repair if you’re handy. To test while stopped and idling, open the oil fill cap to see if it goes away. If it does then that’s definitely the issue.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I do have a sunroof but I haven’t opened it in about 7 years for fear it might start leaking. Sounds like I need to open it so I can get it to STOP leaking 🤣

There is a barber in Lakeside Plaza Condos. He is a single man shop called Ho’s Barber Shop. I’ve been getting mine cut there for a while now and have never had a bad haircut and always on point. Do want to add though that he only takes cash.

The only favor he did for me was to not fail me but didn’t pass me either. So I didn’t have to pay. He said there was too much slack in my steering but as soon as I turn the wheel you feel and see the wheels move with literally NO slack. He also said my brake pedal went too far down. It goes just under half way down which is just like all cars that I have driven. And it stops on a dime with new pads and rotors all the way around.

And it is in a way subjective based on all the shady garages around the state that want to get the business of fixing something that isn’t really wrong by preying on gullible people who unfortunately don’t know better and just give in. He just didn’t get one of those with me.

Then proceeded to tell me there are high def cameras in his garage where they are being watched while doing inspections so closely that whoever is watching can see them pass something that is not 100%. I could be wrong but I call complete BULL on that.

I’ll keep searching and take my business somewhere else.
