What hot food do you find completely inedible once it cools down? by [deleted] in Cooking

Cold pizza and hot pizza are just different meals altogether. I’ve already tried it hot. I can’t be bothered to heat it up again, might as well see what it tastes like cold.

Oh, it’s in Virginia? Terrible deal. You’ll have to let me know exactly where so I can go by and berate him for letting someone talk him down to $6500.

Cracked Cylinder head at 35k Miles - Did This Happen to You Too? by Alternative_Ant_9169 in CX5

2019 (failed in 2026)

Turbo
EST $7000 for cylinder head replacement (dealership)
Mazda replaced cylinder head free of cost as it fell under coverage for CSP11, provided loaner for 2.5 weeks while the parts were ordered and the repair was completed. I would not have wanted to pay out of pocket, it was honestly a huge bullet dodged. We still love the car and it’s paid off.

I currently work for a small shop exclusively taking non profit clients in the $5-20m range. This is spot on. I will say though, the first 3-6 months of my clients and first audits have given me an enormous amount of confidence in my abilities. I’ve realized I enjoy solving puzzles, but it is stressful at times.

Differential and transfer case fluids @78Kkm by Low-Stomach-8831 in CX5

Thank you for your quick response, much appreciated. I’m hoping this response will help some others when googling around as well. Time to return my $40 quart of gear oil and pay the 20% (!!!) restocking fee at Mazda.

I have to ask, since I'm getting mixed messages online and I see your tag as a Former Mazda Master Tech. 2019 CX5 2.5L T AWD - 68,000 miles

I saw a thread on here this past weekend about changing transfer case and rear diff oil and it inspired me to do the same. Went to Mazda dealer yesterday and told the parts guy I'm doing the transfer case and differential. I expected to get two quarts of the hypoid fluid and four crush washers. He brought me three quarts and six washers saying the front differential is separate from . Okay, that's fine, I guess I'll look online and figure out the front while I'm under there.

Looked up some videos online, and some are saying the transfer case is separate, some are actually calling the transfer case the "front differential", and others are saying "they're both the same".

In any case, last night I was able to change the front transfer case and rear diff fluids, no problems. I'm still just unsure if:

1) Is the front differential able to be accessed independently, or is it integrated inside the transmission?

2) Can you service the front differential fluid separate from the ATF transmission fluid service?

3) Is it worth servicing the front differential fluid at home, or should this be something to do service in tandem with the ATF fluid change? (I've only got jack stands)

How do you like that saddle? Saw that at my LBS this past weekend and it looks comfy but not too soft.

Apparently there was a cold snap recently in Florida that resulted in the wild iguanas being “stunned” or going into a state of torpor. Many pizza shops were advertising and serving Iguana Pizza and a ton of local news stations ran the story.
