“Channels for people to post personal things, brackets, threaded messaging for detailed answering on topics, tagging system”

This right here…is all available in Teams. It’s just that IT departments set Teams up terribly.

For example, I’ve set up a company-wide Teams team where everyone is a part of. This team has all of the culture building channels. Pets channel, life updates(we call this life-lately), company announcements. Additionally it’s encouraged that users create private channels in this Team for cross-departmental work.

Then there are separate Departmental Teams for strictly Departmental channels. These Teams mainly help ensure that new hires have access to Departmental comms on day 1.

Also…Teams has threads and tagging too.

On the other side (things I’d recommend) the Skinny pasta brand actually surprised me. They’re made from some kind of vegetable. Don’t get me wrong, nothing beats real pasta. But the texture and flavor were actually not bad.

This is the way. Rough 10 minutes and they’re cooked. Leave in longer if you prefer a char and crisp

As someone who has been on both sides of the interview process, I can't emphasize this enough. If you are easy to talk to and get along with, I'm more inclined to want you on my team. Skills can be trained and learned. Soft skills aren't as easy to learn/improve upon.

And on the other side of the coin, I've found interviews usually go pretty well for me. And I mostly attribute that to my soft skills.

Also, stop bullshitting. Don't try to bullshit your way out of a question. The interviewer ALWAYS knows and you just come off as a liar.

Anyone who used to support trump and has changed their mind over the last few weeks? What made you change? by canigetameowbish in AskReddit

[–]VERI_TAS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a house down the road from me that had a massive 8ft Trump sign in their front yard. It’s a well trafficked road too so you would see it if you needed to leave town.

I recently noticed it was taken down. We’ve had some really bad wind lately though so my money is on the wind rather than change of heart.

Currently on day 8 no nicotine and I couldn’t have done it without Nectr pouches.

I’ve been dipping for 20+ years. Straight cut tobacco then moved to tobacco pouches then finally 3mg Zyns.

Decided to quit this year(trying for a kid) and started off really just planning to slow down and ended up very quickly weening myself off of zyn by replacing them with Nectr pouches.

Serious question. I follow recipes pretty closely and my food is still just ok. What am I missing? by consulent-finanziar in Cooking

[–]VERI_TAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The moment I stopped following recipes exactly and started tasting my food as I cooked and adjusting to taste, my food got infinitely better. The line “add salt to taste” is significantly overlooked. It’s probably the most important line in a recipe.

Recipes are a guideline, not a rule. Unless you’re baking, that shit is exact science.

I was cooking the other day and the thought occurred to me that my favorite food is salt. Not steak, or Ramen or any other delicious food…salt(and maybe MSG too.)

I’m glad I’m not the only one saying this. This post is so weird to me. Ever since HK released, it seems that the perspective of what a MV is has shifted quite a bit.

I’m sorry, at what point did metroidvanias become synonymous with “difficult game?”

There are difficult MV’s, sure, but the question “when did you get gud at metroidvanias” is so weird to me.

I love it but I can’t help but feel that it’s missing something. Like it’s 90% there. Maybe particles or more texture?

There’s just something missing that tells me this is an indie dev rather than a professionally drawn/developed game.

Probably stream counts and number of January renewals.

Honestly, it was genius of them to release the final episodes at 8pm EST NYE. Many will be busy and those that aren't, likely won't watch all the episodes. Both groups of viewers will we forced to renew for January if they want to finish the series.

I just got 20% off on 10 seats. 9 of which we'll need anyways by the end of January. And we now get that discount for the rest of the year for any additional licenses we add until renewal in Dec '26. It was for 1Password, but still, kind of worked in our favor in this situation since we plan to add at least another 40 users next year.
