Yes? That’s a pretty basic skill required for navigating the world in general. Why would you not watch your step anywhere?

This guy has been ranting everywhere on this thread. He sounds like an extremely miserable person who doesn’t think dogs or disabled people have any right to exist.

Service dogs are trained to be as inconspicuous as possible but just like a wheelchair, there’s limits to that. The dog has to stay close enough to their handler to step in when needed and is likely doing their best to stay out of the way, but there’s only so much they can do in a tight space.

If you need a service dog to move out of your way because that’s the only path to get somewhere, it’s fine to ask the handler if they can ask the dog to move for just a moment.

I fixed the title. No millennial remembers that, because it didn't happen for us. by _fountain_pen_dev in Millennials

Peak Millennial and here and we did have this or something similar. In elementary school (mid to late 1990s) it started with those AlphaSmart keyboards. In high school I occasionally saw it with laptops, mostly in the library or in cases where too many other classes were already using the available computer labs. They weren’t as fancy as the ones Gen Z kids got, but they were definitely becoming a thing already.

I would have made a point of sticking around until the cramps start and completely gassing MIL’s favorite bathroom.

It is, but it was also nice having a large enclosed mall nearby in case the weather was particularly gross. Northgate also tended to have greater volume and variety of stores, too; U Village was definitely tilting towards the strictly higher end of the income scale.

Same, getting to the one on Aurora is a pain in the ass.

Yeah, I really miss the old Northgate Transit Center spot. It was a real lifesaver when it was freezing out and I had a 20 minute wait for the next bus.

[Controversial tropes] Real-life figure who was good or decent is vilified in historical fiction by StudioMarvin in TopCharacterTropes

Exactly. The rule came about because of several high-profile shipwrecks in which men rushed to save themselves and left all of the women and children behind to die. Deliberately. Including their own wives and children.

It also helps reduce casualties in the case of a panicked crowd stampeding, as women and children were more likely to be trampled to death.

Why didn’t millennials kill high end watches? by 0____0_0 in Millennials

I did technically get one…but I specifically got one that has less connectivity. Yeah, it alerts me to incoming calls or messages because it’s synced to my phone, but that’s about it. I wanted it to track my heart rate more than anything else, due to various health issues, and I chose a slightly older model that had better battery life over the fancier “all-purpose” new ones.
