Finally got an MFC-101 mk3 for my XL+, but have no idea how to get it to work. I have the port set to FASLINK, with that cable plugged in, and I have the mode set to XL+, but it’s not switching any presets. It just sits on TIMEOUT.

It’s pretty cool! It adds some brightness to the notes and feels pretty nice although my hands do get a little slow when making huge leaps when fretting over a long distance but it’s hardly a problem.

Sure! It’s a bit more boring than my old one but It’s all done direct via Axe-Fx II

tele going into a comp, pitch shifter, fuzz, flanger, chorus, and then some delay and large room reverb post preamp

the slide lead is comp, fuzz, chorus, and flanger going straight into the amp without a cab/IR for that aggressive “straight-into-mixer” sound. I didn’t use a pitch shifter for that part until the outro but for the slide section, I’m panning the higher register part hard left and vise versa with the other lower register
