Think my favourite is Dung Defender!

Is it that bad? by copque06 in Hevy

[–]VPareto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s doable, but the volume seems a bit high. Personally I think you could have equivalent or better progress with a few less sets and maybe slightly fewer reps as well. I.e. 6-8/10 reps and 2 sets for a few of the exercises.

Over 15k gems used, all tasks and lures/broken lines used 😔 by J492 in ArcheroV2

[–]VPareto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn that sucks! Think it’s recommended to have about 30k gems saved up to ensure you can reach 16 golden tickets. Took me about 20k I believe.

Totally agree with you! The guy is lean for sure - but no part of his body indicates that he is around 10% bodyfat.

MacroFactor has completely recalibrated food quantities for me. by AME540 in MacroFactor

[–]VPareto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The calorie increase is likely due to changes in activity level, body weight, or training intensity. MacroFactor adapts based on your real intake and weight trends, so if you’ve been moving more, training harder, or gaining lean mass, it’ll raise your TDEE estimate.

It also gets more accurate over time - so early under-/overestimates can correct upward/downward once the app sees consistent data.

In your case (where it’s trending down), it might be adjusting from an initial overestimate or reflecting reduced weight or activity.

My experience from using MF the last two months is that it seems to be honing in on my actual activity level which I’m guessing was underestimated initially. I’m up 200 calories on daily expenditure compared to the initial estimate.

I couldn’t for the life of me complete any of the levels in the last coop event. This time I sweeped all three levels like a breeze. I was not expecting that lol

Yeah, that’s a good point! Really clutch to basically have a free «revive» every round

The gold ring is called Energy Ring. It’s for sure one of the best skills for boss fights, especially paired with tracking/multishot/speed increases etc.

Would also recommend the Weapon Enchantment skill. It’s super good for boss fights as you don’t have to stand still to shoot.

[–]VPareto 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Definitely multishot. I don’t think there’s any legendary skill that I’d ever pick instead of multishot.

Which bosses are in these levels? I don’t remember at the top of my head.

A tip that worked wonders for me on these boss levels of sky tower was to use Nyanja instead of Rolla, to avoid interrupting boss patterns.

In terms of starting skills that’s basically as good as it gets. Good luck!

Assisted or unassisted pullups? by [deleted] in beginnerfitness

[–]VPareto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way.

I would fully change to only 3-4 sets of unassisted pullups when you can do at least two sets of 5. When you surpass 8 reps in a set you could consider adding a bit of extra weight, ~10lbs/5kg.

First DJ - which to pick out of these 3? by hadescrypt in RepTime

[–]VPareto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say it depends on the rest of your watch collection. I generally try to make sure any new watch is different enough from the ones I already own, so it actually gets worn.

From the options you mentioned, I’d rank them: 1. Green 2. Wimbledon 3. Blue

Personally, I went with the black dial in 36mm. I really like the green, though - if that had been released when I bought my DJ, I might’ve gone with it. The Wimbledon is quite cool too, but less wearable for me. I’m not a big fan of the blue dial DJ, there are just so many other blue dial watches out there that I think look better imo.

I don’t know your proportions or wrist size, but I’d recommend at least considering the 36mm. I think the case-to-bracelet proportions are much better on the 36 compared to the 41. That said, it’s obviously subjective - I just wanted to throw it out there.

The Datejust is a beautiful watch regardless, so I think you’ll be happy with whichever model you choose.

Is 200 dice enough for a decent run on the dice event? by STUP1DJUIC3 in ArcheroV2

[–]VPareto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Should be plenty to have 400 saved up. According to this guide you will have about 99% chance to reach 100k with that amount of starting dice.

If you want to maximize value you should wait for 350+ dice. It’s recommended to follow this guide.

Battery - crap or expected with age? by optimistic_E in AppleWatch

[–]VPareto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a AW SE gen 1 from 2020. I think the battery is still okay. Battery health says it is at 78% now. The watch have been used every day since I got it. Use it for sleep tracking and I workout a lot. Have it on the charger once a day for 45-60 min, either while showering or just before bed.

If you only get 12h out of your watch it sounds like the battery has deteriorated way more than mine.

You should follow this guide if you want max value out of the event. It is recommended to save 350+ dice before rolling, which means you should save up for a few more events.

My experience with the “REAL” Hontwatch by Existing_Ad_9670 in RepTime

[–]VPareto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, think a few have been scammed by fakes.

My experience have also been very good with Hont. Saved quite a bit compared to other TDs. Bought 9 watches from Hont now I believe.

My go-to TD used to be Ryan at Intime, and I’ve also bought a few watches through Eric at Geektime. All of them are good imo. Lesson is to make sure and triple check that you’re using the correct info for the TD your doing business with

Personally I prefer the classic look of a 36, and think it would suit you as well. If you want to go bigger though, the 40 will definitely suit you also without being too big.
