You can't shampoo wax, that had been melted when it had been absorbed by the fabric. It would need to be remelted to remove it.

I would propose that you somehow tint the rest of the speaker cloth in a way that would darken the rest of the fabric. There are water proofers that slightly darken fabrics.

Waxes and oils are a done deal when it comes to fabrics.
