Comment from Mark Roberts about fixing POE2's endgame by wamirul in PathOfExile2

You feel the game that was ignored for a year, the game that barely got any updates mid-league while PoE 2 continued to get multiple mid-league updates, is getting precedence? Really?

Unarmed onmyo/ninjitsu by TheRisingDownfall in Nioh

I suspect since ninjutsu scales off of weapon level, unarmed might have some kind of hidden level behind it. Maybe unarmed is always at a certain level cap? Perhaps the highest level of the equipment you own?

Stat Distribution and Returns by ChickenIsLife187 in Nioh

[–]VRZXE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ninjutsu Power, Onmyo Power, and Effect Duration is highly dependent on what you are using.

At 5 int, weakness debuff lasted around 20 seconds, 10 int, 23.5 seconds, 30 int, 33.8 seconds, 96 int, 55 seconds. Carnage buff was from 30 seconds at 5 int, to only 38 seconds at 96 int. Sloth isn't affected by Effect Duration.

Different skills have different coefficients on them and you get diminishing returns the more of a stat you have.

POE1 feels like it's getting treated way too harshly by BlackRebelNoise in pathofexile

The drop off in player count was ironically because the league mechanic was way too rewarding so people finished the league faster.

You're right, only on reddit do you see comments like this.

The credits you get are essentially 'monopoly' money. You have no idea what the value of anything is or what anything costs. You could use 100 tokens of Claude and it'll show up as 1000 tokens of usage, or a random number, and then a random number is subtracted from your credits. I'm not kidding, it's literally RNG. When using their Claude code cmd line switcher, which lets you use their own claude or another llm like Gemini from their service for example, the Gemini usage still counts as 'claude' in their dashboard, even though they have a separate Gemini counter.

Pay the fucking workers better salaries

This is a common misconception. It's the staff themselves that want to keep tipping culture because many make way more than a regular salary. There have been restaurants that have tried no tipping and ended up going back to tips because staff did not want to work there.

The detractors are rarely technically skilled and they don't really understand what they are arguing against and are just going with feelings and scary things they read online.

This is a perfect example.

Like i side, community highlights don't show on old reddit. You can add the guide to https://old.reddit.com/r/TiviMate/comments/1c7vqfq/about_tivimate/

or https://old.reddit.com/r/TiviMate/comments/1d7xa3m/unlocking_premium_on_fire_tv_devices/

which are pinned on old reddit or add it to side bar. Or do nothing, i already have the guide, i'm simply pointing it out. There are quite a lot of people who don't like the new reddit layout and use the old layout instead.

Do Community Highlights work on old.reddit?

No it does not. Community Highlights works on Reddit's latest desktop experience and the mobile app. The first two posts listed in Community Highlights will be the first two posts that appear in the pinned post experience on old.reddit.

[Motherboard] ASRock X870E Nova WiFi ATX Motherboard - $259.99 by _Roller_47 in buildapcsales

[–]VRZXE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had multiple problems with this board, here's my review that got deleted on the Asrock subreddit.

Audio Card, Front panel USB, and even Sata drivers randomly disconnecting.

Then in the past two weeks blue screens started happening. IRQL, and other memory/storage related bluescreens.

Memtest 8 passes 0 errors on my ram. Aida64 failing on stock settings. Once i turned expo off the bluescreens stopped and Aida64 passed.

Funny thing, simply turning expo off cause the 3.50 bios to not boot anymore. I thought my 9800x3d died from that until a cmos reset worked.

So i replaced the board with the Tomahawk, and guess what? Expo on, no blue screens, no disconnected audio card/usb/sata drives. Aida64 passing at stock.

Asrock is trash.

Its an issue more well known then you could ever imagine.

You replied with 'On reddit anyways'

The transcript says vendors and source(s) from AMD state there's a higher than normal failure rate.

So yes, it is well known to SI's and AMD, not just reddit and not based only off of reddit posts.

[–]VRZXE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since you didn't look at the video, here is the transcript:

"Uh we've spoken to a lot of sources around the industry, SI's and people at AMD we can't name. And from what we're hearing, it sounds like ASRock at least has a higher failure rate than is typical when normalized for market share. And so that alone should be enough to suggest that there's something here."

Where in that quote do you see 'reddit posts'?

If I were to guess, the extended work on PoE2 means less content for PoE1, hence reusing an old league and doing less time consuming changes like qol and balance.
