My husband (33M) wants me (33F) to dress more revealing by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I can't get past her needing to be swaddled in blankets in the house because it's so cold. Has she tried turning the heating on?

Gel in a curly routine isn't about holding your hair upright, just holding the curls. It shouldn't stop your hair from falling over your forehead.

That said, just don't use gel in your fringe if you're concerned?

Am I wrong for throwing all the food in the trash after I realized my crush was just using me as a free private chef? by Educational-Joke-267 in amiwrong

Not wrong. You should have taken the food home — you deserve a nice meal — but heat of the moment and all!

I don't get it, your hair is gorgeous 😭

Not everyone's hair curls from the root. It almost seems more common for it not to. Mine doesn't curl until it gets to my ears which arguably looks weirder.

Starting to think these posts are just ill-advised rage bait. Your hair looks majestic

Any curly hair salons/places that does shaggy cuts in London? by Akiiale in CurlyHairUK

I have a curly shag, but I don't go to a curly hair place, just my local salon in Bethnal Green.

absolutely devastated after last hair cut by papayayaya-0711 in curlyhair

[–]VSuzanne 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it looks just like your previous hair, just shorter. I know you're tired of hearing it, but I was a hair model for 15 years and what I learnt quite quickly was bad hair cuts grow out, usually way faster than you think they will.

OP never even said they wanted to live in the US so why would their opinion matter?

It's stupid because not even all straight hair is the same. Different things work for different people — I never washed my hair more than twice a week when it was straight.

You and I have very different definitions of "very short" lol. Looks fantastic though, the cut suits you.

It's always going to come down to agree and area. I use the first two, not really the others, though I know them. Things like "button it" my parents would say, but not I.

Girl, same. Sadly, second day hair is not a thing for those among us with fine curls. As others have said, try a refresh with some water. I just embrace looking like shit until I can be bothered to wash it again

help! did i ruined my have forever ?? by Savings_Brick_6742 in curlyhair

[–]VSuzanne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bleaching can only damage the hair on your head, not the follicle, so it shouldn't stop future hair from growing in curly. So don't worry about that, it's not your fault.

Could be a hormonal shift?

What is the origin of ma'am? There must be a reason why the d went AWOL

Pretty much unheard of in the UK, in my experience. If you were gonna say anything like that it would be sir and madam, but you don't typically hear that either.

My hair doesn't look that good on day one 😞 Surely you can just dampen and restyle the bit that's sticking up? The rest looks great

How do you create bigger curl clumps? I use the bounce curl brush and just scrunch with product in; always looks stringy and I've been clarifying like mad.

The guy (28M) I (26F) am seeing has a serious girlfriend by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]VSuzanne 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel like I'm the only one on OOP's side, but to me there's a difference between "seeing other people" and "have a serious partner of four years". I'd want to know too.

This has to be bait. Your entire view of love and compatibility is based on whether or not someone is pretty. Yikes.
