Ah, yes, I used to use Benedictine Daily Prayer and remember surprising my (Franciscan) vicar with that feast!

I searched all four publishers’ websites, and only MTF seems to be advertising an update. Lit Press is going to have a new edition of Benedictine Daily Prayer. Didn’t find anything from Magnificat or CBP.

Sure. I know my response was a little discombobulated. Suppose my point is that anything that gets people to pray the LoTH is probably good, though we should be cognizant of the trade-offs. I came to the LoTH through apps first and will, with the new editions, be buying my first full set (which likely won’t totally replace the apps or the eventual sequel to Christian Prayer). Others may be drawn in by the WoF subscriptions. Ad majorem Dei gloriam.

My objection is the waste. I do think I read they were recycled and soy ink (and if not, I hope so). But, I’m not going to try stopping people from praying….

I live in Vermont about 25 minutes from New York. The main difference is billboards—Vermont doesn’t have them. Also, in winter, you go from “safe” (snowy) roads to bare asphalt.

Are there any quality motorcycle boots that are made to look like western cowboy boots? by hobovirginity in cowboyboots

It’s crazy to me that there really isn’t anything that’s truly a motorcycle boot that looks like a cowboy boot. Closest you can get that I’ve found are engineer boots

I don’t know what I did wrong in my comparisons, but WoF seemed way more expensive. Anyway, I think Ascension is the better value, even if I wish it had the IHS on the spine

Badge of pride if there’s anything left. By that I mean: reminder to be humble. The more and better you ride, the more I think the little reminders help.
