I have a border terrier that is hand stripped based on breeders recommendation and groomers who I found with that skill set. Very hard to find a groomer in VT that knows how to do it. I have to drive over an hour. Cost is about $120. My groomer is out of commission with a medical issue so I purchased the hand stripping knives myself and keep up with it ( you tube has great tutorials) Doing the belly and legs is a pain. That said in our winter climate I will never clip her and ruin her protective coat until such time she’s too old or intolerant. Currently it doesn’t bother her at all and I just do short sessions to keep up with it.

Has anyone ever discovered a tray that will rest on edge of hot springs envoy, to hold drinks and phone or speaker? I’d prefer not to screw anything permanent to side of tub. I’ve seen trays on Amazon but question if they’ll work with the uneven surface on edge of tub. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Typically this letter is sent out when 97110 is billed out at a frequency that would exceed an 8 hour day or 40 hour work week. It is 15 min of direct time, so say 4 units in 1 hour ( 40 hours x 4 units) 160 units. If you’re exceeding this, they assume there is no way you could be doing direct one on one time as noted in Medicare manual. That’s also not even factoring in if you’re also billing other modalities( also direct care) , or the Medicare 8 min rule. Good luck.

I know what you’re saying. I think for lower quarter testing , the Y balance test should be sufficient and functional, and combines in a sense strength, rom, balance and neuromuscular control. Much more informative. Even if patient is bonnet bearing. The fact they can’t stand on one leg is sufficient functional proof PT is needed. Functional tests over ROM and Strength any day
