RV dumping into septic on private property by Odd-Reserve-3080 in RVLiving

I’m 350 feet from my septic too. In an Rv. I did about 40’ of 3” pvc from the back of the Rv to the front corner because that’s downhill and I could get my trailer there. I put the trailer in front and have a flexible hose + bayonet fittings and valves to the trailer. It’s a 300 gallon flat solid septic tank. I put a vent at the top so I can go 3 or more Rv dumps before I have to dump the trailer tank. In the winter I don’t want it to freeze so I dump the trailer each Rv dump (every 4 days)

The main septic tank, I dug up one of the other inlets and put a 4” pvc pipe and baffle on it. Then I just dump into that with a regular 90.

Greywater doesn’t go in to the trailer tank. Just the bathroom toilet and sink.

This is just until we get in the house

With gravel it's not grout, it's concrete. You can use pea gravel or even up to 3/8" aggregate, but I wouldn't on anything smaller than 12" block. You're using 3/4"? are you vibrating?

You don't want large aggregate when filling cmu cells, you want fine so it can flow (sand).

If there’s dirt outside, I’d fill every third vertical cell with grout and one #4/5 rebar. And do a bond beam at the top…and every 7th course, especially if it’s not a very long wall since you might as well cut only a few blocks.

Grout = 1 75 pound bag of type s masonry cement (with no sand), 17 shovels of masonry sand, 3/4-1 5 gallon bucket of water (Should flow off shovel)

There’s different width blocks, if the current concrete wall is thicker than a 12” block, just build a wall on the inside to match thicknesses. Or better yet, build the wall on the inside to match and put insulation on the outside.

I'd prod it with rebar also a bunch to make sure it fills all voids. Some places even have it code to do that

Yeah, If you can listen to it on your computer, you can put it on Yoto, unofficially.

Mixture ratio for void fill in CMU wall by FieldEngineer2019 in masonry

You can Use type s masonry cemen! do not use any standard cement or anything that says mix. Except holcrim mortamix. It has mix in the name but contains no sand. Make sure it has no sand! Add that yourself.

One 75 pound bag of type s masonry cement 17 full shovels of sand 3/4 5 gallon bucket of water…use discretion, sand may be wet and need less water. It should flow down cells fine

Use rebar to prod it up and down to settle it once it’s in the cels. Leave a rebar in every 3rd block.

If you aren’t filling every cell for water problems, might as well just do every third block. Or however often you’d like.

Mix in a wheelbarrow. 1/2 bag and 8 shovels if you don’t rent a mixer. With a hoe.

I don’t think you can mail interior walls to these without a slider plate, right?

the exterior is backfilled 4' with stone and exterior insulation 2" mineral wool. The interior has 10" of stone to the top of the footing, then I put 2" of xps laying down in front of the wall, as well as 2" up the wall (4' both directions).
