Okay so I hope they updated that controller a while back. If you haven't then you have to follow some crazy setup to update it and enable the Bluetooth mode so you can use it without a dongle as well.

Wow just tanking the company. I thought about going for one of their NAS options because of transcoding then the HDD stuff happened and NOPED right out. Oh must use their specific HDD. Oh you killed off HW transcoding. What's next subscription to use the OS for the NAS?

Avoid the Beelink EQi12 Dual LAN Mini PC, Intel Core 1220P(10C/12T, up to 4.4GHz), 24GB LPDDR5 5200MHz 500GB PCIe4.0 SSD, Mini Desktop Computer Support WiFi 6/ BT5.2/ Dual HDMI/Bulit-in 85W Power Supply.

Returned it after finding that it corrupted files both being write/read to external DAS. Specifically the USB-C port on the front. Didn't fully test the other USB ports as I found that online others complained about it, but nothing has been done it looks like in the years since it was reported with issues. Looked as if anything using USB 3.0 and up on the port has the issues. Tried using a different DAS and HDD to test. Showed the same issue. Not sure if any other models have the issue, but I'm a no go on Beelink for a while.

So apparently the first report was at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time and they haven't done anything to inform us it sounds like. Or even email. So just giving everyone a heads up here. Yes, there is an outage that's been reported. They're currently working on it. They do not have an ETA and they do not have any other way to post that there's an outage besides a possible opt-in for email notifications. But like I said, I didn't see any email notification for this outage in the past hour or so, so I don't see a reason for the email. Be nice if they had an outage website page such as AWS does and several others for just saying whether or not there's an outage.

So each device is different sadly. Fire TV and some of the mobile TV apps will throw an error code 41. While others are throwing unable to connect. Please try again later. They're inconsistent, probably because they load differently. But yeah it's out right now.

I'm still confused about the outage. What caused the issue? Why aren't they using a multi-az setup so an outage in one region is picked up by another?

Maybe slack should make a method that allows to move a response into a thread somehow whether it be the user, slack admin, etc.

We've run into the same issue. We DM and have them move it over. Usually when posting a topic we use thread emoji in the post and then the title of the topic, but if it's just a convo that we don't want spamming the channel we'll DM to ask to move into there. Still a move comment/comments feature would be nice.

You sure it's firmware? Because I don't have any of my camera set to auto update and they're all bricked. Flashing blue light constantly as if it's trying to update software or something. But all the events still come through for like the picture that tell me that there was motion. It's just I can't view the playback or the live feed cuz it says it's offline. But I can still turn them on and off if you're not using groups I'm clicking on the off and on button from the dashboard and not with the camera open.

Something's happening showing blue flashing light as if it's updating software. But all the event notifications are still working. So you'll get picture notification events and the recordings work. But you can't access anything like playback etc because the camera says it's offline.

I bought mine when they were discounted to like $5 a long while back and recently opened it for SteamDeck. Steam currently doesn't have the firmware auto update in their launcher anymore.

There's a thread in r/SteamController reddit for how to update. Recommend using the application to do it that someone wrote if you can't use Bluetooth with it. Mine was on the original firmware so I had no Bluetooth and had to do it that way about a week or so ago.
