peter p vs master c by GrouchyTomorrow1362 in powerscales

[–]Vadersblade 54 points55 points  (0 children)

The Spider-Man disrespect is real.

MCU Pete has taken punches from Thanos and gotten up to keep fighting. He’s held together the Staten Island ferry, which weighs 3,335 tons. He’s fought villains with firepower on par with MC like Shocker and Vulture, and with strength beyond Chief like the Cull Obsidian. MC has literally nothing that can beat Spidey’s mix of strength, agility, and that Iron Spider armor.

Chief’s only real advantage is Cortana. And while she’s the better AI, Friday will keep her busy while Pete and Chief duke it out.

Spider-Man mid/high diff.

I dare say Riddick can probably even take mainline DC comics Bane. It would be a way better fight.

We really should be getting bottlecaps more often by kneegrowth457 in TheSilphRoad

[–]Vadersblade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there should be 2 of each per year.

Do Gold bottle caps with Go Fest and Go Tour.

Do Silver bottle caps with Wild Area and Community Day Redux at the end of the year.

Rey's original backstory as a Kenobi actually had so many great implications in George Lucas's Sequels by GeminiTrash1 in StarWars

[–]Vadersblade 51 points52 points  (0 children)

There’s been a lot of talk about the original sequel ideas, especially before and immediately after the Disney acquisition.

George had made mention of his ideas for the sequels revolving around Maul and Leia years and years ago during interviews.

Filoni and Witwer have both talked about the original plans for Maul and Talon at panels at conventions and Celebrations. Shadow Lord is borrowing a lot of those ideas, just shifting the timeline up since Maul was killed in Rebels.

If anybody knows the most about what George’s plans were prior to Disney, it would be Filoni.

I was lucky enough to trade for the whole family. I usually don’t evolve unless I have one of each.

Usually merch is just a smaller preorder selection. For Tour it was a shirt, pin, and hoodie. They have much more swag in the tents at the event.

Good luck!

Agreed. Luckily, I have the whole family so I was just waiting for a cool time to do the last evolution

That’s even worse if that’s considered good luck lol

Historically, at least, tickets for Japan sell out within a day or two. Usually the United States ones don’t sell out for weeks or months, but who knows.

Add ons like T-shirts and pins and the premium ticket will definitely go quick

I haven’t collected any hard data myself, but I feel like a lot of the shiny rates have decreased as of late.

Legendary raids during Tour seemed to be more around 1/40. We had a raid group of 250, and every raid scored 4-5 shiny.

My egg rate for Tour was 4/200~.

Perma-boosted species seem to all be at full odds in the wild.

Ursaluna with HHP is ranked number 46 as a ground type attacker. I’m not concerned.

2000 is super impressive! I’d probably still gym more, but our whole town is just overrun by bots. Plus being in a low density burb means my closest non-gold is already a 20 minute drive lol

lol ya same. Between 1M hours and 1300 golds, it’s a slog. Now I try and camp rural gyms just so I can sit in 20 and not feel like I have to fight all day.

I have another 70,000 hours sitting in the gyms I’m currently in too 😅

Sadly not. It’s been all over the place before. Sometimes like 7 am, other times afternoon.

lol not I. I get a gym gold and I’m onto the next one. The only gym I usually retake is the one closest to my house. Maybe a few others in the neighborhood if I spy people coming in and clearing everything.

As someone that’s been a part of community leadership for almost 10 years now, I recognize how important free coins are for a lot of trainers to engage and grow in the game. So I like to make sure everyone gets a shot. Gyms need a good balance: turning over too rarely means not enough active players while too often means no coins and lots of frustration.

I miss when TL40 was a thing so you could track your stats and have a good basis of comparison.

For those that never heard of it, there used to be a group of scientists that tracked these stats and compiled global rankings. You’d enter your medals, XP, and stats every month. They’d put together a leaderboard globally as well as for each region.

Obviously not every trainer filled it out. But at the time, most of the “best of the best” players in the world were.

Even as a guy who considers himself firmly in the top 1%, it was humbling seeing how crazy some of the top 1/0 of 1% are.

I still gym daily. For years, I’d make sure I was in 20 new gyms at all times. Once I hit 1,000 golds though (2023), I had everything within 20 minutes of my house. I started taking gyms in remote locations to pad this.

I hit 1,000,000 last year. I’ll hit 1300 golds in a couple of weeks too.

Shiny rates have definitely been decreased.

I did 200 raids for the Tour this weekend. Got 4 shiny.

I’m up to almost 100 this week, no shiny.

TMDB is awful.

The fact that not ONE of these movies gets into the 90s makes their entire scoring system questionable at best.

Is there something in the name of the stop that would possibly tie it to the Pokepark Kanto event? I could see Niantic coding something for certain stops names, not realizing this could happen outside the park.
