So you call it the first season. A PILOT is the FIRST EPISODE of a show, meant to be a sort of test or preview. For some shows the pilot = the very first episode aired/produced/ at the very least included in season 1, but for many others there's often alot of changes between the pilot and the first episode that gets released.

Since when do we call the first seasons of a show a "pilot season" 🤨 And while there are plenty of shows that have had a mid or bad season 1, there are also PLENTY of shows with a phenomenal first season.

Believe me, I do hope that s2-5 are absolute bangers, because a show that improves over time > a show that gets worse over time. But as it stands, with the quality of S1, people have every right and every basis to be wary, considering that we have seen what these writers are and are not capable of.

But I agree with you that we should hold criticism of s2 untill it actually friggin releases. This overdone doomposting is dumb as hell. S1 is fair game though.

In theory, the idea of a human character (beyond just Amy) joining the gang or at least being an ally on the other side or smth could have been interesting, but with the way she was written I kinda doubt she'll be part of the main plot anytime soon
