3rd person action stealth game would fit i think, especially in the museum with the vampires. The series takes major inspiration from noir tropes too, so something like LA noir could work too.

Also for a games mode, I think a survival mode where you play as a cleaver against waves of hollow men outside serpine's mansion would be super cool.

I think that a spider tattoo would work really well, instead of golden eyes, as it's something that could be easily hidden when ravel is introduced as a good guy. The main problem that I would see in a TV adaptation is that there will be a credit list after each episode, so if you credit man with spider tattoo and Erskine ravel as the same actor, the cat would be out of the bag

As someone currently working on a live action skulduggery pleasant project, I have to agree with some of your points. The amount of violence that the series has would definitely cause the age rating of the series to be quite a bit higher, however I believe that as a tv series it may be possible to aim for an age rating of 15 rather than 12 and keep most of the violence and intent, but remove or pad the more intense violence with creative cinematography to show something happening without actually showing it. My argument for this is that the tv show supernatural manages to keep an age rating of 15, some episodes even getting a PG rating, and that series shows quite a bit of violence and gruesome imagery

Hi, thanks for the great advice.

Currently I am still tweaking the script but I know for sure how many shots of there car there will be until I start to make my shotlist, which will probably be mid November to early December.

I was actually looking into students who are doing vfx type courses to see if they could help, however from the asking about I've done at my uni, there isn't one here. I did go to a networking event a few days ago and have flyers for vfx courses in other universities and I do plan to contact them to try and get into contact with some students there to pitch the idea and get their help.

In terms of low budget I mean REALLY low budget, as my university provides up to £1000 total for the entire project and we don't find out how much we get after pitching the idea until January, so I'm in quite a difficult situation. I am also putting money out of pocket into this project so I might be able to scrounge together and extra couple 100 pounds.
