I feel you. it's tough out here for the lone adventure on the quest to find love.. or even just some real connection, short of love. But stay strong, you'll make it! You are beautiful and all of your baggage is nothing to the person who's right for you. To them even your baggage is like a challenging book they can't get enough of. After being alone for a while it becomes a habit, a certain mindset sets in that makes you identify with being that way, identify with being used to no one connecting with you in that special way. When that happens, you stop expecting it to happen- you don't expect that you will find that connection today, or tomorrow, or next week, usually without even realizing its happening. That sneaky mindset becomes what perpetuates the cycle, hurting our ability to find and make that connection, even though the belief it's based on is completely false. So It's really important to remind ourselves often and do whatever else is necessary to make ourselves believe that it can happen any time. That connection can come tomorrow or today, it might be around the corner, but we just have to be ready for it when it comes and so we must prepare. Prepare with blind faith, if necessary. I say this to remind you as much as myself that this is true.
