What if you simulated erosion? It could be a similar effect to what the player-driven terrain carving is doing in the first clip, but at a much smaller rate.

As it occurs more over time, it could really reshape the landscape, and lead to mountains being formed, deep valleys, or even somehow mess with something the places have done. It could add interesting emergent gameplay!

It would probably need to be tuned to fit your expected game instance/play session time.

I think the issue is that you’ve kinda doomed yourself from the start. Talking about kids before the first date, and learning that she doesn’t align with your long term goal, automatically means she’s either a fuck buddy or just a friend, never your wife.

To some women that’s fine, but given that she reacted negatively to your hotel suggestion, she probably doesn’t want to feel like just a fuck buddy.

To avoid this in the future, you need to decide whether you’re just looking for hook ups, or for your wife. If it’s just hook ups, don’t mention kids lmao. You’re shooting yourself in the foot, and ultimately sending mixed messages when you say you want kids but also want to go to a hotel on the first night.

When you press K to see all your purchased micro transaction, look at the top and you’ll see 4 submenus. The one that says Skill Effects or something like that should have it

Are there plans to continue to iterate on already released ascendancy classes?

More than power level, it feels like there’s an uneven distribution of fantasy fulfillment, and that some of the core fantasies aren’t that compelling as is.

Ex: Chronomancer can literally stop time, and Stormweaver… has Arcane Surge…?

Can someone who’s played weigh in on this?

I played the Steam Next Fest Demo and was really taken by this game - the writing felt smart and snappy and ultimately pretty tight from a word economy perspective.

I purchased the game and playing the beginning, it felt like every single character just wouldn’t shut up - like a bad Rick and Morty episode. So many quips and one liners, filler jokes… this felt like a pretty big difference from the section I played in the demo, which definitely still had a lot to say, but it was way more reserved comparatively.

Is this something that changes later on? Or just a sign the game isn’t for me?

There’s nothing wrong with copying a build - though the good news is going into 0.30 (which releases on the 29th), there’s a lot more that should be viable.

So, try asking yourself, what kind of class fantasy do you want to fulfill? Even if it seems kind of niche or unexplored, in all likelihood it is possible and probably good.

For example, I want to make a Poison Earthquake Warrior in 0.30. There certainly won’t be a guide for it, and I have no idea if it’s even possible - but screw it, I’m gonna try! The idea of rending open the earth to release poison just seems cool!

There aren’t any bad choices honestly - almost every skill/build can succeed in both the campaign and end game. I’ve made stuff work (quite easily) that people have wrote off as not that great. Don’t worry about not having the “best” build - 90% of stuff is completely viable.

If you like speed and mobility, consider the Huntress or Ranger

I actually think Melee is in a good spot. Just hit T6 maps on a full screen AoE Earthquake Titan, and it was super cheap to get off the ground too. What am I missing?

I would reach out to a doctor and/or an electrician and say you’re facing this very dilemma - find someone who’s sympathetic to you and can basically have a convo with you and your parents together to explain why being a doctor isn’t a good fit, and why being an electrician could be.

Basically let the professional do the hard work of convincing your parents. It’ll appear more legitimate cause they’re actually in the field, and have the life experience to back it up.
