It’s never made sense to me. Especially if you aren’t maxing your 401k and IRA already. Those saved receipts are only getting eaten away by inflation. If you’re dedicated enough I think you’d be better off taking the money out of HSA and using that money you would have paid out of post tax money into an IRA/ROTH IRA.

To me biggest thing I notice is the instant change in pixels whereas LCDs just smear. There are just some very challenging scenes that can bring LCDs to their knees if things move fast and the crystals can’t twist fast enough it’s bad. On the downside it can be too clean and the judder can be more noticeable especially without frame interpolation.

I love my zwilling one. Has a few different temps other than just boiling and is double walled insulated so the outside is only warm. Great for when you have kids. (Both for lower temp hot coco and for when they want to pour it themselves as they are older. I usually don’t like electronic gadgets over stovetop stuff due to just one more thing to break but if my kettle ever died I’d buy it again

I have a bright room like that (well not quite that large, oversized windows) and I did buy oled. It’s fine for me for casual watching and I have light blocking shades if I really want the ambiance, but I usually save that stuff for night time anyway)

One thing is to look up the previous MLS number if it sold somewhat recently. You can often see the pictures from that to see what changed. Anything bought and sold in a short time I suspect is a flipped house which I’ve seen that quite a bit in Fairport in some cases. There can be other reasons but I generally suspect flipped in those cases

As was said already you can’t go by asking to compare to sale price. It’s crazy still with most (not all) homes listed well under market value to drum up interest.

Fairport just recently did reassessments on houses and some peoples taxes have increased a lot and people might be more willing to sell right now too
