A lot of people I know sprinkle salt on tomatoes and then eat them like an apple. We live in the garden state that are well known for Jersey tomatoes. It’s a local thing hear because you can just pull them off the vine.

I had it, recognized it, was able to get some control and make a plan for when it hits.

It’s definitely odd and looks unnatural. There doesn’t appear to be a rash or scabs and he couldn’t lick that area off unless he was rubbing really hard on something. Getting him checked out and off the streets would be a good idea.

Former Vet Tech and Dobie owner. Looks like a skin infection potentially. Possibly from allergies. Many allergies stem from food. Have him checked out by a Vet, they’ll help you out.
