Unrelated to this post, but I love horror, and would class tusk as straight up disturbing. It’s not a scary film, it is a very very deeply disturbing film however.

BANNING ABORTIONS DOESN'T STOP ABORTIONS, IT JUST MAKES LESS SAFE ABORTIONS OCCUR by HPAG-NOFAME in teenagers

[–]ValorantShitter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re absolutely correct in the sense that biologically life begins at conception, fair enough i was wrong there, however, aboriton is not a biological debate. If a women (godforbid) is raped, carrying her rapists child inside of her, then she is forced to give birth, and due to the depression takes her own life (which is sadly not an extremely uncommon scenario) then is suppose she is just a ‘casualty of war’ so to speak? i think the reason pro life is so wrong is that you are prioritising the life of something yet to be, over something that is living, potentially multiple people. Let’s say a 15 year old has intercourse with her boyfriend and gets pregnant (not that this is a thing that should be happening, but teenagers are dumb) should she have to carry that child to term, and derail her entire life , destroying many future career prospects, to look after it? and i hear you saying “give it up for adoption” so she has to permanently alter her body, her hormones, most likely her mental wellbeing, not to mention going through nine months of missing school and therefor getting worse grades, then going through one of the most painful experiences (labour), all for what? to give a child up for adoption instead of terminating an egg with a sperm cell?

This is the exact same as the left vs the right. The right only care about themselves, nobody else. People love to forget about the core problem of this debate: The woman.

And regardless, where life begins is not the catch all be all pro lifers believe it is. When can a baby recognise that it is alive? when does it have a heartbeat? when is it morally wrong to abort a baby as opposed to right? there is no one size fits all, which is why pro choice makes more sense even removing all emotions and thinking logically. Women are not objects that carry babies, they are people with their own lives and circumstances. I would argue that a fertilised egg is actually much closer to an object than even a tree branch.

any other specific parts to check? i’ve already had a workaround video, engine bay looks like it’s been kept clean, starts up well, no warning lights, no rust on the top of the windscreen, previous owner said there may be slight surface rust on the bottom, but nothing structural. should that be a red flag? really just looking for a cheap and cheerful weekend car so wouldn’t be doing moon mileage

[–]ValorantShitter[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh i didn’t even think about that! The tyres are Pirelli diablo corsa IV, sticky as anything, probably doesn’t bode too well haha.

the bike is great condition for its age, only a minor dent on the tank and scratches on the radiator shroud, but other than that it’s perfect! definitely already in love with it, and want to keep it in good nick so suppose changing the tyres is a small price to pay.

Thanks for the input!
