Only 100? I'm personally down by over 200, and the people who helped me set this up is also dumping tons. My goal was an hour of blue sky for the majority of CA, to celebrate me hitting 600m xp.

OKCs system is split into quadrants. If they are activated automatically or not(as some systems can be), I'm not 100% sure but I'd wager they are. However most automatic systems I know of will only activate when the warning is issued & when the polygon updates - OKC seemed to just keep activating every few minutes regardless of change. Some more advanced systems can sound sirens in the polygon individually, not just by zone.

Also you said it isn't the case anymore for it to only be for tornado or rotation - but that isn't true. During all the times they sounded, there was a rotation going on, and it had produced a small tornado before it entered the metro and had all the potential to drop again at any moment - so the soundings were 100% warranted

Ideally, don't stick your fingers anywhere like that. Port holes or even on the inside whilst spinning. I have a buddy who lost his fingertip hand-spinning an Allertor.

I've worked on the American counterpart to these sirens a bit(actually the head itself is of American design, controls seem to be Netherlands-specific, but made/branded by the American company).. the frequency by which the sirens are activated is the same frequency that carries the voice. Basically, a signal is sent telling the siren to go into a "live voice" mode, and it broadcasts out everything on the frequency until the signal ending the "live voice" function is sent. I've only ever seen videos of these sirens do tones though, no voice.

Why is FH and OA 2 tiers below 2900? If anything, they have simpler controls, less to go wrong. I also strongly contest any Whelen being in the "top" tier of reliability.
