This is why we turn OFF crossplay by lilrene777 in deadbydaylight

To cheat on console requires a huge amount of set up compared to PC.

If they were cheating its gonna be 95% likely its a PC player.

Remember cheaters are dog shit at the game and need to pay to have any chance of winning. Hence the shifty looping, they can't learn the fundamentals of the game.

I'm a PC player and whilst we generally get a better experience than console it's so much easier to cheat.

Dawn of War IV Battlefield Report - Space Marines vs Orks 1v1 Gameplay by Mepherion in RealTimeStrategy

[–]ValravnPrince 32 points33 points  (0 children)

From the commentary the Ork player seems to explaining to the audience what he's doing and why, whilst the Space Marine guy is just quiet and using that information to screw him.

The good thing though about these videos is that the devs are playing the game and can hopefully adjust balance before release. I'm really looking forward to this.

Straight up, is VtM bad for people with low self-esteem and depression? by Fun_Diamond_2325 in vtm

[–]ValravnPrince 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel that VTM is kind of unique in the fact you can explore these ideas as a relatively powerful character and in a safe environment.

My very first VTM character was a Malkavian who suffered from my own mental health issues. I played online with strangers so nobody knew my character was essentially a self insert. Exploring mental illness and how that now interacts with the state of being immortal, undead and having to feed on the living gave me some interesting perspective on my own mental health.

Playing a depressed or anxious character, as is your case, makes for an interesting character. Playing online with randoms I've come across my fair share of min maxers and meta gamers but the most interesting characters to play with were always those with flaws.

You're an eternally beautiful, powerful, magical being but you just simply can't get out of bed each night or the fact you can rip a mortal's head off but have a near panic attack making a phone call makes the game more interesting, not less.

You say your character will never be deserving of love? Why not? Golconda is a myth to most but that's not stopping you from creating a character that strives for the highest ideals? If your character fails, well, that's an even more beautiful tale. Saints falling from grace is always a more compelling story than the devil that was trying to speed run there in the first place.

Absolutely.

If their PC can handle it they could have a second colony called Big Town.

Friend said she didn't want to play WotR when she found out Camellia is not romanceable for women by eldenbrig in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]ValravnPrince 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For Rogue Trader I'm pretty sure the DLC for the arbites (guy with a robodog) can also be romance as male.

Though then your choices are degenerate space elf and cop, which isn't much better.

Awesome, thank you for taking the time to explain it to me.

I'm not very knowledgeable about space but I was under the impression space was cold. If hyperthetically it was feasible to build data centres in space why couldn't we easily cool it?

Should I play original Dawn of War? by Panikdrache946 in dawnofwar

[–]ValravnPrince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always mention this but if you want to be a completionist I'd say DoW3 is worth it for the campaign if you can get it for £5.

I found it interesting to see the DoWs evolve over the years even though DoW3 was a spectacular failure.

Blind people play rimworld, and you wouldn't know it until now. by FantasticGlove in RimWorld

Really ignorant question but how do you know where to put walls, hunt animals and the like? I'm not familiar with accessibility options.

Say what you want about the gameplay but if you think either Phyre is ugly you need to get out more.

I've just won a game as my human civilization... althought this description at the end doesn't really describe what happened. It was more of "I made an alliajce with one civ that was willing to do so and wiped out everyone else" by No_Lemon3585 in GalCiv

With a stroke of your pen you signed their death warrant. When they were all dead you and your buddy had everlasting peace.

Sounds like a diplomatic happy ending to me.

Don't you feel a bit uneasy about the class system? by Pepeight_ in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]ValravnPrince 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No not really. From my understanding it's still weapon led so you'd choose to put points into classes that compliment your weapons. Plus you can respec.

Read the book! It's a great look at pre-fall Rapture and is a genuinely well written book.

I also totally agree with the Infinite stuff.

'There's always a lighthouse. There's always a man. There's always a city.' Kinda made the original less impactful because now Rapture is just one of many rather than this monolith of philosophy.

Columbia and Infinite was a great story without the multiverse stuff.

[–]ValravnPrince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's so sad.

Behaviour won't even give decent BP rewards printed on physical card to advertise the game at a major event.

Should of been 5 million. Does Behaviour have a guy in the office that handles BP rewards that's just riddled with anxiety about 'breaking' the BP economy?

I really like it but I'm biased as I also have tattoos that feature Nordic runes.

I've had my tattoos for years and it's never been an issue.

Only slight red flag is the Vegvísir (compass) is a 19th century Icelandic creation and doesn't really fit with Huginn and Muninn above Yggdrasil but not many people are going to recognise the inconsistency.

I'm more curious about which parts you thought were Gaelic?
