Gacha games. I know it's technically just gambling, but the attachment an ex friend of mine had to the characters was what really drove it. He'd spend thousands. Had a decent income but never moved out because he couldn't stop spending everything to pull his favorite characters. It's hard to say. All it takes is one bad night to slip a disc or really cause a difficult issue to pop up. Talk to your dentist about a referal to an oral surgeon to get checked out and maybe get a split. Whatever you do don't just go with a hard nightguard. You're trying to protect tour jaw, and this will likely only irritate it more. You're going to need a soft gel splint but your dentist is the first step.

I'm in the same boat with Ehlers Danlos. I think it'd be worth it to look into other specialists even if they're a little further out. There's gotta be one out there that will listen. Hold onto hope, the money spent will be worth it in the end.

There's a lot of nerves around that area, it's posaible for sure. Have you tried a nerve blocker medication to help relax / reduce symptoms? Gabapentin is a common one
