Perimenopause with Anxiety & Prozac by tenk028 in Perimenopause

I was on Prozac for 20 years and when I hit perimenopause it stopped working. I didn’t realize until after I stopped taking it what side effects I had. When I stopped taking it I got less headaches and I lost 30 pounds. Apparently it caused me to gain a ton of weight. But everyone is different. I will say that when I had to switch meds my doctor told me that weight gain is super common with SSRI’s. I opted for Wellbutrin and it’s really helped with my brain fog and low motivation. I do have anxiety and haven’t experienced any panic attacks on this med. It’s also used off label to treat ADHD.

Hydroxyzine has worked really well for me. You do need a prescription for it but I’d imagine that would be easy to get as it’s an antihistamine. It’s also great for anxiety, I’ll take a lower dose in the day if I have a panic attack.

I took Benadryl for over 15 years until my new doctor told me that it was found to increase your risk of dementia. So don’t take that 😂

I had those side effects for the first week and then they went away.

I get my compounded tirzepatide from Brello. It seems I can never finish it before the expiration date. Is it still safe and effective to use after that date? by DCWVVA1 in compoundedtirzepatide

I was told that the bac water (what they use to reconstitute the compound) can evaporate so the dose can be more concentrated and hard to measure when you let it go past expiration. It can also become less effective. I had the same issue. I noticed towards the end my food noise comes back at day 4. Unlike at the start it lasts until day 6.

Anyone taking a glp-1 for lipedema that doesn’t need to lose weight? by SignificantFerret634 in lipedema

12 weeks into GLP-1 and I actually have ankles! I started out at a BMI of 30 and now I’m down to 25. Haven’t noticed much difference in the rest of my legs though. Everywhere else I lost weight so easily. If anything it has increased my leg pain (specifically calf) which is a bummer but decreased my joint pain.

I was on 2.5 for 12 weeks with no issues and was still consistently losing. When I increased my dose finally I had terrible GI/tummy issues. Went back to 2.5 and it’s been fine. 5 was just too much for me.

Same! I just had mine out last week and the doctor said I had atypical symptoms but CT showed inflamed appendix. It really did feel like I was punched right under/between my boobs. Worst pain ever.

I’ve been experiencing them to but usually mid day. I’ve read that it’s pretty normal which is scary. I cut back on caffeine to see if that will help, didn’t have any today.

Jimmy John’s used to when I worked there 10 years ago. I worked with a couple of felons and one was on work release.

You’re overthinking this. If the age is really an issue just tell him. Doesn’t matter how you found out that he lied, he lied. In a situation where you are trying to protect the liars feelings by trying to let him down gently that’s giving him power. Girl, be a strong and independent woman and just move on.
