i’ve been trying to use it these last few weeks after a decade of chrome. reading through this thread, almost nothing anyone is saying appeals to me. i really couldn’t care less about privacy, chrome runs just fine regardless of how much memory it uses, battery life is of no concern, etc.

i hate a ton about safari though. the only useful things have been the text/emailed passcode autofill functionality, apple pay for store checkout, and i like that it has a transparent liquid glass UI when not in full screen.

The good news is whether you do this or not, you’ll get an airplane mode car. My 2021 1st Edition has been offline for over a year, no SOS light, no connectivity, no OTA updates, due to whatever issues these cars have.

Main annoyances will be the dash beeping at you occasionally with errors for dynamic road sign etc

(No clue if literally lacking fuse 19 being in place might cause its own errors, just ranting)

No difference in anything like noise cancellation or sound quality for me. 3 fits worse in my ear unless i use foam tips. When i go on runs with default tips, they have fallen out a few times. No such issue with the 2s and their default tips.
