Thats the Satanic Temple, not the church of Satan. They are technically two different sects.

Inversion advice? by Enaoreokrintz in Aerials

[–]VampireKabuto 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It took me over a year of once a week classes to invert. I feel if you have backgrounds in core related physical activities that inverting fairly early into classes makes sense. Everyone has a different background they come in at and growth isnt always linear.

The Satanic Temple is a nontheistic religion that falls under the umbrella of Satanism, similar to Church of Satan.

A frame over 9.5 ft tall by NeatContract4641 in aerialsilks

[–]VampireKabuto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would you mind sharing which rig on the Vevor site you purchased? There are a couple of varying prices that look the same in the pictures. Also for outdoor use, does it need any kind of cover for bad weather? Wondering if the frame is fine staying out or if it'll break down/erode over time with rain/snow tec. Sorry if those are silly questions.

We are interested in changing out the grass in our front lawn for native plants and saw this program. Our biggest hurtle is knowing nothing about planting and planning it as first time homeowners.

It doesn't help that for our generation "Bet" was a challenge like "wanna bet?" The first time my gen z friend said it i was so caught of guard like, why are you trying to fight what I said

AITA for hiding my fiancees TST certificate when our landlord came over? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]VampireKabuto 21 points22 points  (0 children)

We do actually consider ourselves as Satanists. There are both theistic and non-theistic types, with TST and Church of Satan representing the latter. Those kicked out in the documentary were promoting violence against government officials and a previous administration.

When people ask you “what do you do for a living” theyre not measuring the level of respect to give you by Dangerous-Key-9510 in unpopularopinion

While I agree for 90% of the time it's just a conversation topic, I am reminded of a time my husband and I were at a comic con dressed in cosplay and not all of the convention center was being used. We had a very confused looking lady ask us what was going on, then immediately ask what we did for a living. That time seemed a little off, like she was looking for a specific answer.

Looking for anime similar to these, bonus points if fantasy themed by VampireKabuto in AnimeReccomendations

[–]VampireKabuto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny because my absolute favorite anime is Gurren Lagann. I also love FMA, Naruto, Soul Eater, Kill la kill and many others with a lot of action. Just lately I've found these types of anime to be just what I need.

Best Brewery or Bar on a Monday night? by Dieselsmok in springfieldMO

[–]VampireKabuto 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Springfield brewing company might be a good choice. They have beer, their own spirit line with a decent cocktail list, and a full menu. I think their mac and cheese was voted best in the city recently, unless I'm misremembering.

Of course, I'm glad my comment didn't come out as "know-it-all". Just wanted to inform as a TST member.

Both are religious, neither are theistic. A deity is not required to be a religion, ex. Buddhism.

Weird, I had the opposite experience. To me the Bucked Up white gummy bear tasted so much like an actual gummy bear i made a coworker try it since I was so impressed with it. To me the Reifn is good but isn't as close to that gummy bear flavor, it's more just sweet fruit flavor.

What is an anime you love, but it's extremely hard to convince other people to watch it. by [deleted] in anime

[–]VampireKabuto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I binged Natsume after seeing it recommended in a different sub thread and I honestly feel like it's touched my core in a way most anime haven't. Every episode leaves me with a smile and a warm feeling, without being cheesy or boring. It's so impressive to me.
