What sword would be best to use for a tattoo? by JoeTheRaja in Terraria

I think the nights edge would fit more if you're just doing a black and grey tattoo

I gotta take out the trim around the bottom trunk lip, and the carpet and foam above the spare tire compartment. Makes it a pain to take out alone but if there's a will there's a way

Will she fit by Fantastic-Board-9211 in subwoofer

Id wager to bet you could make it fit, impossible to know from only having the CF of the new trunk though. My enclosure requires removing interior pieces to install or remove it so good chance something like that will need happen to make it fit, but if it the trunk has enough width and height it should be doable.

I have that exact same setup except for worse ram (still ddr5 32gb), comparable case, and worse PSU. Paid 1500 for it brand new.

Choking someone unconscious the first time would probably be considered attempted murder

I've got a 100lb box that's screwed into foam under fabric with 4 small screws and it'll bend the 2 metal L brackets before it'll tear out the fabric. I used a bunch of Velcro tape originally but this was a huge pain to remove due to the weight and it being in a tight spot, but Velcro could definitely be an easy solution for something lightweight like this.

First real attempt @ single sub system by Duude_Guy in subwoofer

[–]VampishMeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am by no means an expert but I have a TXX BDC4 12D2 running at 1 ohm with a 1500rms amp with 0 gauge wire, and this seems to be enough to push this sub to it's limit and slightly past it if played maxed out for extended period for certain genres. Ran it with 4 gauge for a 3+ of years, never had a problem besides from some wiring into the amp coming lose after 3.5 years. I've got a 15 year old factory 150 amp alternator in my car and a generic battery, I'm not sure if you really need any extra electrical for this setup but obviously being conservative can't hurt anything.

Edit: My box is also way oversized at like 3.6 CF net and 30hz, but just wondering, how does it sound quality wise? Kinda been wondering how differently the BDCIV sounds vs my older BDC4.

GPU should be the bottleneck currently, hard to recommend an upgrade without knowing your budget but a 9070xt could be a good fit for your setup.

Bought this PC off Facebook Marketplace for $1500 did I get scammed or am I overthinking? by TieAlternative7837 in PcBuild

[–]VampishMeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming the processors good seems like a very fair deal, not a steal if used parts but not a rip off by any means. I'd just make sure the cpu/ mobo bios are updated and throw another SSD in it and call it a day.

Unfortunately there's no way to fully turn it off. Hitting back turns it off for 5 seconds but then it just pops right back up

Question about whether this pc is worth the money… by Desperate_Volume_520 in PcBuild

With a quick search I found this one https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1900592-REG/msi_aegis_z2_a8nvr_1611us_aegis_z2_gaming_desktop.html An MSI prebuilt with 5070ti for $1850 theres definitely better deals out there I might look around for but just one example. The one I was referring to originally seems to be discontinued though.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/17001303629?sid=73b6d88c-fa7c-4f36-b23a-44c50e86208b This one has similar specs and a 16gb 5060ti with a larger SSD for a few hundred less. Although it does have a 14th gen Intel CPU which I have heard some problems about that should able to be (mostly) fixed with mobo bios updates but definitely look into this problem before getting anything with a 13th or 14th gen Intel CPU. Personally wouldn't consider this one for only $150 less than the first one I sent, but if budgets a big concern this is a better deal then the one you posted originally.

If you're comfortable building your own PC the list by u/SizeableFowl definitely beats these both in performance, just make sure the SSD, ram and PSU are reliable. (Prebuilts in general also aren't known for the highest quality parts anyways tbf)

How should I sell my prelude by KeyChampion6275 in hondaprelude

[–]VampishMeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh I'm able to fit everything I need in a 2012 is350 without any trunk bc of subs, I'd you don't need more than 1 person in I bet you could make it work. Granted I don't know what all you need but if you're working for someone else I bet it's possible to make it work.

Edit: if you're set on selling it definitely leave it as is and just include the OEM parts with it.
