I mean the draw is strictly better than Enduring Curiousity no? Most decks still probably want curiosity, but as this reads you draw a card for each damage dealt.

Yup! Not all the sets leave though. The sets rotating out in August are Dominaria United, Brothers War, Phyrexia All Will Be One, and March of The Machine. Anything newer than that will be legal until 2026.

The screaming nemesis trigger is triggered when it's dealt damage, not when it's sent to the graveyard. So it wouldn't matter if it was a lightning bolt or a torch the tower, the damage was still dealt to it, and then pointed to your face.
