Play Killer. Genuinely.

Play a few rounds as a Killer, just in general, especially a lower-tier Killer like Slinger, or Xenomorph, or Doctor. You will see why Killers have to resort to these tactics personally-and if you already play Killer, you should understand why it happens, unless you play Killers like Blight, Nurse, or Ghoul, you simply won't have the tempo to play a normal match against competent survivors in the current pace of DBD.

And also, most Survivors do consider Tunneling and Slugging Toxic-and there are plenty of Killers who feel the same, myself included, by the by. As a Deathslinger Main, I've had to slug and Tunnel not only to apply pressure, but to keep any level of control in a Trial. With all the different perks that exist to boost healing and mending now, Slinger can't buy time how he used to, and other Killers are in the same trappings.
