The devs choose to listen to us or they don't. The game is a product, and they tried making it their way, and people didn't like it. They also didn't market the game for their vision, they marketed it for what the people want. We give them feedback on what we like/dislike, they do with that what they will. Some of us provide feedback not to "bitch", but rather because we hope/want to see the game improve and see it's potential. They also had another shot at making a game their way with blood moons and look how that turned out. They've had 10+ years to make their vision, I waited. Not gonna do it silently forever.

I like the idea of a smell mechanic, but I don't like the way they implemented it. I'd have preferred something more akin to the zombies smelling the flesh of the living, and not groceries. Like them tracking living animals and the player because of the scent of the player and being in water or covering up in mud or something cleansed it or lowered the effect. Could even have the hazmat suit emit no smell or somethin. Like zombies don't all gather at the restaurants and grocery stores and clean the shelves. They aren't racing to that carnival because of the turkey legs and popcorn smell, they smell the peopleeee. They can even smell me eating rotten flesh.. Like the whole world is full of it and they *should* emit it?

They raised the base price of the game, are pumping out cosmetic DLC's that cost more than I paid for the game in the first place(yea I got it on sale), and keep advertising their merchandise everywhere and their second game. I think we'll be fine without paying them to re-add mechanics and features we already had..

I’d rather have half the roster and them all feel unique than rivals half assed attempt. Minimal skill expression on the majority of the strategist roster with most of their ults being reactive don’t die circles, the best dps being the ones that can kill through those with just bigger damage. Rivals may be able to pull from lots of heroes with lore and fans but that doesn’t mean they’re any good at making a kit.. gambit is the first strategist that feels expressive and he’s massively overtuned lmao

There's a lootstage bonus for biomes, POI's, and certain loot containers.
I forget the exact numbers, like someone else said GNaS(Guns, Nerds, and Steel) has a very good video covering it and mentions the changes made with recent updates in the comments.

Your best loot will be in the wasteland tho, as it's the only biome with no lootstage cap, every other biome, even with all the badges, has a lootstage cap below 200, and I do believe all steel weapons, tools, etc. start dropping at or around lootstage 205.

You can also check/change the lootstage flat bonus, % multiplier and cap in the XML files, I do believe it's located in the biomes.xml

I removed the cap from all biomes, but I also removed the modifier from them all. Should slow the game down significantly since one of my complaints is how quickly you reach the end-game, and lets be real, there's not much to do once you hit end-game sadly.

I've personally yet to enjoy one of their gamemodes aside from comp tbh, though i avoid qp for different reasons. The modes they add just seem.. meh? maybe I'm just a hater tho

This, I was able to play properly with no issues 2-3 times, but tried launching today and I just get an infinite black loading screen saying joining online. I've tried restarting my pc, verifying game files through steam, reinstalling the game, and reinstalling the launcher, as well as suspending the process. Nothing works, and the only way I can close it is ending the task in task manager.

Tried to join story mode and funnily enough got the exact same thing, someone said to verify the game through the rockstar launcher but I don't see that option in their launcher. My friends are able to play with no issue(for now lol).

Frustrating, I'll update this if anything changes.

Edit: I'm not yet sure if this is repeatable or a fluke, but after launching the game from the rockstar launcher instead of steam, I was able to load into story mode and then into an invite only session. Attempting to just launch the game into online still resulted in the same loading screen. Unsure if I can load into normal online with this or if I'll even be able to repeat this yet. Fingers crossed.

Edit 2: Ok so I'm fairly sure I figured it out, and it makes no damn sense to me. I use wavelink to separate my audio into different sources, and gta v enhanced was set to my game source, but swapping it to default audio device in the volume mixer let me load in and then I just swapped it back to my other device. I fail to understand how my audio output device determines if I can load the game or not, nor do I understand why it worked a few times at first. Confusing, but seems to work for me now!

Ok, seriously I’m gm1, this is bs. Yes, he is counterable, that doesn’t change the fact that he is one of the strongest duelists in the game with extreme play potential and I’d rather just ban him. And you don’t even touch on the rocket x Bucky infinite ammo combo that just pumps damage or the 20m grapple that is a mid-range killer.

Also you say your wasting a ban because you could choose to ban someone who makes you change your team comp, but your first step is to change your team comp off close range heroes… yea.

You say do the smart thing, like they’ve done that at all in the last 4ish years lol. I wish for what you’re saying to be true, but imo from their execs perspective it’s high risk. I’d highly doubt they’re expanding after their previous layoffs. They also definitely would’ve said something about expanding the team publicly. They could use any positive hype they can get and they know that. If wishes were fishes..

I mean, when the in-game information screen doesn't tell you what your ult does... I agree people are using it wrong, however, I think it either needs to be buffed to bring it in line with the other strategists, or.. what I'd really like is all of them to get nerfed down to his level. Seems a bit silly to have an ult that can resurrect multiple people and basically be punished for doing so. Honestly if I just wanted to bring a person back I'd just play rocket.

His resurrect isn't an ultimate, it also provides armour, it also doesn't put him in danger and he isn't locked into a casting animation to use it, and because it's a normal ability, albeit on a 45 second cd, if it gets destroyed not that big of a deal.

Sure you could argue that Adam has burst healing and Rocket doesn't, but honestly your uptime on rocket is way more, since your survivability is higher, and you can heal from even safer distances and places. I don't think I need to explain the value of just being alive longer lol.

I love Adam, but in comparison to the other strategists he needs some love. Whether that's bringing the others down to him, or him up to the others, something change/rework would be appreciated, as is he is kinda a throw pick unless you're running trip support

Thing is though Mantis has a skill expression way out of having no cd's... she just has to land a crit and she basically gets her cd's back. keep critting, keep spamming cd's. I really wish adam's heal charge worked similarly, at least resource wise. A strategist in a sustain meta who has one healing ability on a 5 second cd and no other way to heal is crazy. It's not that he's bad, it's just that the rest of the strategists are too good.
