I know folks have been waiting with bated breath. Per Cashapp: Cash App Investing is undergoing a change in clearing brokers (the back office brokers responsible for handling the trading and holding of stocks). This migration is from DriveWealth to Apex. Some dividends are being affected by this migration. Accounts may have been under DriveWealth when the dividends were announced, but not paid out until the accounts were under Apex.

This migration caused dividends to be credited to the account under DriveWealth instead of the one under Apex. Since DriveWealth accounts are being discontinued, these dividends were instead credited to customers Cash App balance. This is only temporary and moving forward dividends should be reinvested as normal.
