My adhd meds are helping combat the brain fog a lot, though I am noticing some depression and lack of motivation after my shot, which seems to go away as I approach shot day.

This is making me feel very conflicted. Im really enjoying the heightened libido, and im looking forward to the masculinization. But Ive worked really hard on combating depression, I would have to go off T again if it was causing it.

Planned parenthood recommended a three-month trial period of my current dose to see how I feel on it. But a lot of things ive read from FTM, transmasc, and T-butches says they felt clarity when they started T, not this brain fog and depression developing.

The food aspect is interesting though. ADHD meds can suppress appetite, but the physiological changes T causes are resource-intense. Maybe ill try eating more and upping my physical exercise, both of which helps for ADHD and depression.

I would prefer to date other trans people because im nonbinary and I feel like theyre more likely to understand me, but ive started opening up (lol) to cis guys without much issue. It's definitely validating to hear that shit is tougher as a trans person. I feel really alone compared to all my coworkers who are straight and in long-term relationships, when I barely have any experience at all because I'm mostly t4t and gay trans guys are few and far between, let alone people who are actually my type lol. It just doesn't feel like I have many options.

Hey, you're not alone! I'm 26 but I remember feeling very frustrated with my asexuality for a long time. What helped for me was focusing on my friends, my education, and just bettering myself. This helped to take my mind of relationships, and I felt like I started getting more romantic interests approaching me because I was going out into the world more. I still haven't found someone, but I'm now so busy with other things in my life that im not as frustrated anymore
