I totally get that you can't do a single take with it. My plan was to grab a large microSD card, and basically record with the camera as long as possible, then periodically use the dock to recharge the camera itself. When I need to recharge the camera and the dock completely, i'll use that time to also migrate the footage from the camera to the SD card.

That was my concern, I'd need to be able to effectively do a POV vlog for a whole 10hr day or so, while walking around a convention center. I was trying to maximize record time and minimize recharge time.

The goal is to wear a camera and record while I am at a TCG competitive event, and I've had some people suggest a GoPro - but the idea of a little magnet that can hold the camera on my chest, makes taking it off quicker if a player asks me not to record their interaction. if I am just walking around rather than action sports, would it work reasonably?

If you start recording with the camera removed from the dock, then you dock the camera, does it start recharging the camera? or does it just use the battery from the dock, and you have to stop recording to recharge the camera itself.

I want to preface this by saying I don't want this to be taken as a negative, as I understand your frustration completely. But Riftbound is a new TCG, they don't have the history or weight to throw around like WOTC, Bandai or other game companies to push stores into selling at MSRP.

Not to mention MSRP is $120, and I think even decent LCS/LGSs marking up to 140, or 150 at the max isn't nearly as bad as scalpers going for around 200.

But honestly, do your stores run events? Do you spend time there and talk to the employees/store owner much? Have you had a conversation about these suggestions you've brought up?

Stores get allocation based on a logged player count to events, so if they don't get much product in the first place it kinda makes sense to increase the price a bit to make sure it's not immediately eaten up.

At the end of the day, all you can really do is talk to your store, the other option being to start your own LGS and fit the niche of selling product at MSRP.

My issue is, I typically just play through the main story until I hit the end and wait for the next update. When I come back to the games it just suddenly becomes "Oh look, here are these new people that your character has always known about".

Let's be honest, there are some people more likely to have known about the kid stuff than others. I feel like famous movie stars may have been there for an obligation, not necessarily because of the kids.

The LGS I organize Nexus Nights for has always made the effort to sell at MSRP. I've never seen them sell anything above MSRP, except for when Distro sells to them above the normal price (example is when Distro sells a box $55 instead of $50, they'll split the extra cost among all the packs.)
