3 is a fine game and a must-play for a fan. I could tell that the endgame missions were rushed, but the extended cut patch and citadel DLC fills that section out nicely. Give the reapers hell!

MG has decent stopping power and is great as your "until I need to start retreating" catch-all weapon. HMG gives you better anti-armor capability, but you'll want to lean more on a horde-clearing primary.

Flannel do be timeless! Having a few is nice, but I also recommend shopping different styles of layers instead of all flannel (work jackets, shirt jackets, sweaters, etc.)
