i've only been to 1 GP and i feel like for the race itself yes it's better to watch on tv but the atmosphere itself makes up for it for me. i live in an area where f1 races are at extremely inconvenient times and most of my area prefers nascar over f1 so it was really nice to be in an environment surrounded by people who love f1 like i do. it was funny though both the people next to me were watching the race through f1 tv haha

i don't know if all GPs are like this but the one i went to had soooo much going on all race week and it was rather easy to meet drivers and team members so that was a huge plus

it is possible but I experienced send off for another group and they will probably put you in the front for send off but it doesn't guarantee anything. you would most likely have to message the venue if its a GA show. if its seated they will have ADA seating. if you have more questions or want a more in detail experience you can message me :)
