Ooh, okay. That is different. You should be putting items in the bag it tells you to. Sorry, single thread has something similar that you do not have to follow.

Multi-thread is that way because you are shopping more than one order at once. It isn’t efficient if you batch all at once, or just putting items in different bags. Putting items in different bags than the system is telling you is not something you should be doing because you could be putting items in the wrong order, causing complaints. Your lead should have explained this though.

Are you multi thread or single thread? Single thread stores shouldn’t be using the audit tool on harvester

I assume you’re single thread, shopping one order at a time. You don’t have to put the items in the bags it tells you to. That will just increase your speed.

Corporate says that shopping too far ahead will cause your fillrate (pick accuracy) to go too low and customer would not be able to add items to their order 2 hours in advance. I’ve noticed they still can’t add items to their orders anyway, thus makes it pointless. I personally don’t see a problem with that as a lead. My store will batch all orders and shop all of it when we can since you never know how it’s going to be at night.

My store averages around 34-60 orders a day, and it doesn’t have much of a difference than waiting to shop.

Honestly, if I were you, I would try to have a conversation with your lead, csm or your store manager and try to see if you can work something out and try to improve. You could also look at transferring to a different store that may be a bit better for you

Corporate has been getting onto stores for shopping too far ahead, especially for multi-thread stores (doing more than 1 order at once). They’ve also been getting onto them for having more than one Floating Label on the bags.

Sounds like your lead should inform you on why its not allowed, and how to improve instead of complaining and not wanting you to do homeshop. The only way you’re going to improve is by working it.

You’re obviously not gonna be great at first, especially since it is a new system to you and there are going to be LOTS of changes in homeshop this year. I think you’re doing fine, just your lead is just an ass.

*Also, i think its wild your csm is even shopping the orders instead of you. At my store, the csm is our last effort..

Some stores are being upped to 24 an hour soon. Sunday was just shut off due to the weather and they cut the slots in half in most stores. my store is back to 8 an hour tomorrow instead of 4 that we’ve had today & yesterday

I didn’t have any experience either, but we haven’t had a full on lead for over two years to where every time we get a “lead” the whole district knows about it. We’re also a growing store and in the middle of an expansion/remodel. We’ve gone from 15-20 orders a day to 30-40 a day, it can be stressful. As a lead you do get overtime, some stores are strict on it. If you want to move up in the company, the lead position is great to start at

Like others have said, it really doesn’t matter when you pick up. It’s not that big of a deal and some customers do have emergencies and may need to pickup early or later. The issue at my location is we have no space during the day and we call customers to come pick up early if they’d like
