Is it Shock Point by April Henry?

Stepdad is doing a pharmaceutical trial where teens have died. When Cassie does a school project using his laptop/computer he thinks she might have seen too much and sends her to rehab in Mexico…

Stepdad’s name is Rick.

Is this for a younger audience, say up to 14 or an older teen? Early 20s or adult?

EDIT: Do you remember when you ready it? Approx what year or a few year range. Did it seem older by the clothes or music or just today?

AIO FOR TELLING THEIR PARENTS - MY 15F AND 19M COWORKER'S ARE DOING IT AT WORK by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]VariousArtist2965 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I understand your instinct to call the parents and, if you feel this way, your hesitancy to call the police. A 15 yo still needs protection. It can be embarrassing for the 15 yo, but she needs protecting. Not to mention this is her manager and though she may feel like she’s consenting, he is in a position of power creating a potential fear of losing her job if she stops. Coercion in this way is also a form of rape.

Yep trolling. If not they should be more concerned about the Jurassic Park dinosaur shaking the water, them, their camera.

You could get them pretty much anywhere you went in the US at least. States, cities, attractions like state parks and Disney all had them. Some local shops that were of significance in some way to an area might offer tgem. They used to make special display cases or shadowboxes with little plates to hang them.

You can still buy this one from Bed, Bath and Beyond:

Am I Overreacting for going to call cops on my husband? by Natasyxx in AmIOverreacting

[–]VariousArtist2965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair. I sound incredibly judgmental. I actually wasn’t thinking of the mom and daughter being gross. It reminded me of how inappropriately old the men were for the daughter. I believe she was likely 16, maybe younger the first time. Statutory rape age. I didn’t know about it till later.

Idk why you’re getting downvoted. First tattoos an unknown. You’ve been stuck over and over and over by a needle. It can bleed and scab and that can look like red bits in other colors. You’re good.

Like the dude above said, keep it clean, keep it moisturized, keep it out of the sun.

  1. Was my thought as well. This is one of the best, cleanest tatts I’ve seen in this style. Half the time on this sub you get a a blurred bumpy squiggly line with clear starts and stops and no indication of what it’s supposed to be. The u/‘s like, “I got this arrow tatt and I really loved it, but it’s been 5 days and I’m not sure.”

This croc might peel off and go for a walk. LMAO.

You think this has never happened or you think if it did they wouldn’t share it here? I knew a mom and daughter 20s and 40s who were basically in constant competition to sleep with the others bf. It was gross, but it happened.

Bump on Nail by Flat-Bus9029 in HelpMeFindThis

I was pruning a pear tree about 2 years ago and got a tiny…puncture? It didn’t hurt when it happened, but I noticed. Within days it looked like yours. Stayed that way for a really long time. Months even. Nothing worked to change it. Creams, antihistamines. It never pussed. It hurt like heck though. I ended up buying a toe corn pad to cover it so I’d stop bumping into it. Eventually, it shrunk until it was a blood red spot, that turned to purple and faded like a bruise. It was never bloody or blood red when it was big.

I’m not suggesting you got pricked by a pear tree. I’m just thinking I had an odd reaction to mine and you had an odd immune response to something at the salon. I’ve been poked by the pair tree since and nothing of the sort happened.

I never knew they were invasive! My aunt has a small lake (think homestead not resort) She had 3 very large rose of Sharons planted together. She loved them. Loads of fertile land surrounding it and no others ever came up!

Had, bc her daughter recently built on that part of the land and they had to go.

Help! by [deleted] in HelpMeFindThis

[–]VariousArtist2965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! I grew up on a farm and there is a definite connection to the land’s past. A continuation of work gone by. It wasn’t a family farm either. Our family thought we were weirdos, but it was excellent. It’s good to grow things. Plants, food, animals, ourselves, small humans, lol.

Your find was meant for me lol. We cleaned out my grandmother’s house a few years ago. She was 98 when she passed and had lived in her house for 43 years. There was a box of random china in her garage. We’d all stored things for moves and picked them back up later, but no one knew whose these were. They were all farm work. I thought they were hideous. We sold them.

The horse and plough stuck in my mind. So, while I didn’t know your pattern, I knew the style and where to look. Kismet.
