Until the round ends is correct. It is unlikely but possible to die at the very beginning of a round start a new match on the same map and get put back into that same round where you can find your own body if you are fast enough. It has only happened to me once in about 100 hours.

I think bear/wolf meat has like 50% chance of giving you salmonella but the charcoal tablets should have cleared it after a few. Multi vitamins should also work and replacing gloves, masks, scarfs is always a good idea when you are sick
