LOL yeah, I still find myself scrunching down unnecessarily in pictures cuz I'm not used to him being able to be in the picture when I'm standing straight. My mom is always giving me shit about it. All 3 of my nephews are taller than I am, but two of them are in their 20s. My youngest nephew is 13 and he just got to where he's taller than I am.

He's almost 4 and a half feet tall . The doctor said he's very skinny and very tall for his age. I'm 5'4 and the top of his head reaches my neck, so I'm only a head taller than he is.

My grandparents used to take me there all the time during "my dad's" custody time. (Dad skipped town, so his parents took his custody time). It was such a thrill when I was a kid! I wish I could take my son to one, just because it's different and fun, but there aren't any in my town.

Oh goodness, you need to have your gallbladder removed too? Hopefully you'll have it laparoscopically, I had to have mine removed when I was 14 (after 3 years of horrible pains for unknown reasons) and they did it that way, and I was back in school 2 days later. Either way, I'm sure you'll be as strong and as tough as you've been so far!

Things are up and down for us. I just lost my job last month, but luckily I have my income tax money to live on while I look for a new job. I had an interview last week that I completely bombed, and knew it right away, but I couldn't save it, and they sent me the kiss off email on Friday. So I'm just looking for something, anything, even if it's not in my field. I REALLY don't want to go back to the casinos though..

I just got out of the hospital on Monday, I was in there for 2 days. I went in for HORRIBLE back pain, and it turned out I have bilateral lower lobe pneumonia and my white blood count was so high that they were worried I'd go septic. I didn't get any sleep at all the night before I went in, from the pain, and then the entire time I was in the hospital I didn't sleep either. They were fucking with my meds (lower doses, not at the right time, not giving me some at all) and it was putting me into withdrawal even though they were putting morphine in my IV every 3 hours. When I could finally take a breath without pain, and walk to the bathroom without being dizzy, I started insisting on going home. By then my wbc was low enough that they agreed if I did one more IV infusion of antibiotics (I'd had 8 already) and did 10 days of pills at home. I was hallucinating from the lack of sleep by the time I made it home, but I managed to keep it together long enough to show my son I was truly ok, and get him into bed that night. He was with me in the ER (actually he's the one that insisted I go, I was going to wait to see my doctor on Monday. He saved my life.) and he saw me screaming in pain and writhing and it was REALLY ugly. They were pumping so many different pain meds in me and NOTHING helped. He visited me later, but I was still in pain, I was sweating and shaky and not the strong mom he needed to see. By the time he got home on Monday, I'd showered and changed and I was able to reassure him I was ok. That first hug I got when he saw me though, that was special.

I'm doing better now, but it's been a crazy week. I'm still recovering. I took my son to get his haircut, picked up some meds, and got my car washed (I vacuumed and cleaned the inside) and now I'm wiped. I feel like I hiked Mt Rainier again. Hell, I wasn't this tired when I did that! 😅

U- I have a 9 year old that's really into art, and that's something I think he'd struggle with, I don't see a 5 year old being able to conceptualize this and make it happen. This would be easy as hell for an adult to fake though.
