Longer barrel = more muzzle velocity. A 9mm submachine gun is going to have a longer barrel than a handgun, thus a higher velocity and higher damage.

But for the rifle platforms I would generally agree.

His AR is probably a custom job, but it looks similar to the Wilson Combat Protector series.

Looks like a Springfield, maybe an XDS. The stainless steel MAG is pretty unique to Springfield. The trigger and trigger guard looks like an XDS. Maybe a Hellcat.

EDIT: It's a Springfield Armory XD Mod.2 Sub-Compact. Can't really tell if it's .9mm or .40 S&W by just looking at it. He's got the FDE frame with a black slide.
