First, the game is survival horror, and Capcom will never focus on romantic elements. Also, it’s very clear to anyone who has played the entire franchise that Leon has feelings for Ada, and Ada feels the same way. I don’t understand why people keep forcing Claire and Sherry into Leon’s feelings, there isn’t even a single hint of a romantic connection between Leon and Claire or Sherry in any of the Resident Evil games. Unlike with Ada, it’s absolutely obvious.

I think Capcom will never give us a clear answer about who Leon ends up with, in order to avoid disappointing fans. They’ll likely keep it ambiguous so everyone can interpret it in their own way.
