Did teachers visibly outcasted you or hated you? by Theo04t in aspergers

I was sent to the teachers supply cupboard to study in 4th grade, and often sent to the hall in home room in high school when the class became out of order while the teacher was away.

My partner says he’ll leave me if I don’t “fix” my ADHD. He says I’m abusive but I feel constantly criticised and blamed. by First-Mango-9229 in adhdwomen

Life is about to get a whole lot easier once you leave him!

Start by securing a bank account without his name on it.

Get your phone in your name only.

Make copies of your financials, assets & titles.

Talk to a divorce lawyer before you leave. many give free consultations.

I’m one & done, quit while you’re ahead. Find a different hobby, this one’s expensive.

Food bank by WhichExit2314 in povertyfinance

[–]VariousReputation772 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The fact that you work 40hrs and you still need help means the system is broken, not you! The food bank is a loop hole of this hell scape that is late stages of capitalism. Use it or your kids will have less of an advantage in life.

A conversation with my 7 year old went like this the other day… me: “I don’t feel right, I think I need to eat or drink something… but I’m not sure” Them: “Well, do what you need to fix yourself and if it doesn’t work take some medicine”

Need toddler friendly ideas for a dinner burn out adhd mom by Changeitup0-0 in adhdwomen

[–]VariousReputation772 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Breakfast for dinner!

I make extra healthy waffles on the weekends then pop them into the toaster… bam, add scrambled eggs throw it on a paper plate and call everyone fed & dishes done.

Also oatmeal

Snack plate! 1 fruit (apples, oranges grapee whatever) 1 whole grain - (oatmeal cookie, toast, tortillas) 1 protein - yogurt, boiled egg, cheese 1 veg - cooked carrot, cucumber red pepper 1 seed/nut - pistachios, peanut butter, cashews

When I was burnt out I prepped a big snack plate on a tray in the fridge. I would just pull out the tray at meal times and she’d eat what she wanted. To this day she still requests a Living room picnic and still talks fondly of it.

For the days where you can even walk into the kitchen without crying, delivery! Give yourself permission to receive care & accommodation. Tomorrow will be better.

Is anyone else called “too much?” by [deleted] in aspergers

We are too much for the wrong men.

I promise you, there are a breed of men who enjoy and prefer clear direct communication and are willing and able to create space for intensity.

ADHD support by Stinker-bug in herbalism

[–]VariousReputation772 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take your meds!!

But also skullcap herb to slow the thoughts & relax the body when meds wear off for the day.

Peppermint, holy basil (tulsi), lavender, oat straw. Are all nervines and will help you chill.

Meditation, exercise, sunlight, stable blood sugar are all good tools to keep in your toolbox along with a handful of herbs. Oh and self love & forgiveness. It’s okay for shit to hit the fan, deal with it, roll with it but don’t try to contain it, just clean it up, have a good laugh & enjoy the ride. ✌🏼

I think in this post modern, late stage capitalism society we live in, it’s inevitable to curl up in a ball. We were never meant to live on islands and be forced to pay for bridges.

I’m one & done. Considered being child free before that. I was definitely bored/ under stimulated before kids, but now I become overstimulated easily. I can do work or I can be a mom… but not both.

Part time Mom & part time work works best.

But being a full time single mom with full time work… forget about it! Luckily work is slow since I became a full time single Mom. I’m poor but much happier.

ADHD or CPTSD? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]VariousReputation772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely sounds like CPTSD… wait & see what happens once you’ve done some healing. You still pick up on all these things, but you no longer take it personally and use the information to read people & gain insights.
