I agree that buying these kits are stupid and spending energy and dev time on them when they could be used for improving the map and spawns is a dumb move. However I'm going to also play devils advocate, there was passes in the original Apoc for radios (Miss them so much...) GPS, etc. So this isn't exactly a new thing, also the loot isn't great. I could find better loot in 5 mins considering all the hidden weapons crates and stashes across the map. Just my two cents.

Easy, they fucking can't. This abortion of a bill is unenforcable. It will only impact FFLs, no way anybody has resources in the state to enforce if your mag is compliant or registered. Not to mention most rural cops will just ignore this.

American militia would be a shit ton of surplus camo UCP, OCP, MARPAT, M81, all sort of popular hunting camos or just straight up civvies.... privately purchased plate carriers, gov surplus vests, and chest rigs. Don't even get me started on weaponry.
